i am going to march up to the lane and make Levy a friggin offer he can't refuse if he don't bloody sign this guy just pay the money Levy, what the hell is 2 million FFS!! This is classic spurs transfer dealings, we never do anything the easy way. He is basically begging us to sign him and we are playing a game with Ajax, if they want 9 million then bloody pay it.
You could hold a boot sale to make up the extra cash required.
I do think he will sign but Spurs really are pushing the button here with Ajax
So pis sed of should of signed by now
Ade has also said he would like to stay and that he holds Spurs closer to his heart than Arsenal
Adebayor gone up in my estimation just on those quotes alone
Whilst I really want vertonghen to come to us. I hate this new trend of players dis-respecting their existing clubs in order to make their move to another club. If you want to come to spurs fantastic, but please stop blubbing to the media
Don have a read of this

Yeh saw that henge Great news but means nothing until Ajax accept our offer. Atleast we know when Ajax eventually accept, he will come straight to spurs as he has already agreed personal terms, get the deal done levy
I reckon we'd do well to keep in with Ajax (i.e. not completely pisch them off), but these are very early times. I think both sides know this deal's getting done (unlike ratboy last year), it's just a bit of cat and mouse right now

Levy is no mug, and as frustrating as it is, when it comes to negotiation, he does have a knack of getting his way.
If he doesnt his reputation as a good businessman will be worthless, so deep breaths, relax, Verthonghan is ours

4thplace - Unfortunately, Arsenal comes to mind here but judging by Vertonghon's comments about us he won't go there If he decides to run down his contract and join us on a free, I'm sure Caulker could be easily intergrated and then by a decent back up for a couple million. That's worst scenario though
Not that Caulker's bad, he looks a fantastic prospect
