In your mind that analogy probably works, im amazed you bothered typing it though
Nutsucker
What's it like in your world with all these certainties?
Are they the same certainties that ensured that Liverpool and Chelsea had a God given right to pig out at the C.L trough in perpetuity?
Perhaps they are the same sort of certainties that ensure that Manchester City will never finish above their neighbours or, God forbid, win the league?
You must find this all very reassuring.
Im no scientist, but I am fairly certain if a comet was big enough, and on the right trajectory it could quite easily penetrate the Earth's atmosphere.
Please use a more scientifically accurate analogy next time you attempt to WUM
You do realise it's 2012, the end of the world and all that. Arsenal soon to be extinct to be seen in an observatory near you.

"The comet is Spurs. Once or twice every decade, they come close to hitting the Earth, before setting off far away again, never touching it."
St Totts day on the last PL fixture of the season.
3 times in the past 7 seasons.
2 times in the past 3.
Poor G.oons. Now in the inexorable gravitational pull of the superior Spurs. And no Bruce Willis to save them either.
And the OP is also definitive proof that O level physics in my day is now like a PhD to kiddies like this one.
