I think his sentiments express those of most Liverpool fans really, most have said another year for Kenny but we can also see why they (FSG) have made the change.
Massive period for Liverpool now, we cant fall further behind.
Thanks for posting, bix
Hopefully some of the anti-Kenny morons who populate this forum will read this. Doubt it though.
shortlight. I doubt it too.
For me a terrible mistake, that I think Liverpool Football Club will rue long term.
The way that the whole thing has been dealt with is disgusting and a complete lack of respect for a man who the club, everyone associated with it and actually the whole of Liverpool deserves more than they can ever give to. I'm not purely talking about football played on the pitch here you may realise
When a team like Liverpools owners start sacking managers who have won a trophy the same year it mark out a sad change in ethics in the English game.
Our club has lost it's lustre. We have joined the ranks of the other clubs like Chelsea and Man City who are solely money orientated.
Yea I was going to write about this as well. Now here is a guy that knows his stuff and is echoing the thoughts of a very select few on here, which is unfortunate. I have no idea how they're going to fill the boots of the greatest Liverpool legend ever, not just in terms of sentimentality but in terms of ability too. FSG claim they were not hasty, but they clearly didn't discuss this with people who actually no their stuff.
The way FSG treated Kenny is absolutely disgusting. Hopefully, eventually, we'll get the right owners.
Btw any idea who the last manager to be sacked after winning a trophy was? I know it's maybe the lesser of the 3 domestic cups, but all the same silverware is silverware
Souness??? Wasnt he sacked after winning the league cup?
In fact, someone posted that several managers have been sacked AFTER winning the League cup...quite bizzare really
Bloody hell, is there some kind of 'opt out' for the carling cup?
Maybe they should rename it the poisoned chalice.

Not sure about Souness, didn't Roy Evans lead the team out for the final against Bolton?

criticizing them now when we haven't seen the consequences of their actions is pure stupidity.
---
.... Surely it isn't pure stupidity if you think there is an air of inevitability about a decision?
Imagine if Nick Griffin was appointed prime minister for the next 4 years. Would it be pure stupidity to say that is a mistake, or should we wait for 4 years to elapse and then we can discuss it during the apocalypse.

Oh do FSG have a history of being some of the worst people in the world? It's quite the opposite, their record in America is fantastic.

ttliv.
Red Sox are currently bottom of their division. Just sayin'
Didn't they get shot of the most successful Red Sox coach? and now they are bottom of their division?
Sounds like they know what they are doing to me

FAO Mr Werner and Mr Henry
1. Guardiola (Not likely but please try)
2. Paul Lambert
3. Rafa
98786. Roberto Martinez
So just to clarify ttliv87 (U11882), are we acting in pure stupidity or not?
It seems to me that when Liverpool needed Dalglish more than ever he came.
20+ years without a title, and he's given under 18 months
No I don't and can't agree with this decision. But half of me is saying that Kenny is better off out of it.
When the club and it seems a lot of fans don't back you or believe in you then what they'll get in the future will be very much what they deserve
