If we emulate AFC wimbledons pace of promotion we might make the premiership sooner
Man utd fans did something similar.
I like the idea.
But, ultimately, when your new club gets to this level of the footballing hierachy it;s going to lose some of it's soul sooner or later I'm afraid.
Part of supporting the club is the feeling that you're part of something, and building for the future. What are we part of ? We don't own the ground, we don't own our training facility. Thorpe Arch is being run down. Young players are going to other clubs. Very few of the team or squad are Leeds through and through, neither is the manager or chairman. The local radio sation is persona non grata - so we are becoming less and less a part of the community. The millions we pour in in tickets and merchandise are being siphoned off. All that's left are the fans, and that's the only reason I'm back at ER next year - loyalty to you guys - there's nothing else to be loyal to.
Would you prefer to be in Luton's position as a fan or ours. Luton if you remember were shafted in a big way, because of the past illegal dealings of the previous owners. The new people came in with high hopes of bringing success back to the club, but were told to fook off out of the league and heres a load of points deducted too.
3-years later they're still trying to climb out of the hole and get back into the league. The same new owners have stood by them, but they can't get any investment to give them that extrea push. Money wasted you could say, and I bet they're asking themselves why they bothered.
So we were lucky to only get busted for -10 points followed aby another -15 as we could have gone the same way. I wonder if we would have got a big investor if we were out of the league. i suspect we may have
The history of our club would be lost.

Nonsense. Only if we allow it to be lost. Whatever the faults of fans of our club, we never forget our history (as other fans are always reminding us!!!).
Champions of Europe !!!!
The direction of our club appears to have been lost.

Just off the M621, went passed it this morning and it was still there. I'll double check on my way home just to make sure i wasn't seeing things .....
Yes it was there yesterday when I drove past too, shame that the quality end of our squad won't be there too!!
I do wish bates would get that fooking ASBO Stand sign down, its an eyesore
I think we should relocate, move the club to Wakefield, they've got an awesome talent scout in that area...!
Bates would feel more at home in Wakefield, it's closer to Monaco than Leeds.
Eric: You are always full of wisdom WUM
We should ground share with the Wildcats. If Bates' supporter engagement policy continues then the Rapid Solicitors Stadium will be more than capable of housing the 30 odd supporters that will be left....
