No,better we get him off the wage bill,he's 31 this year.
Cole and Aquilani
It will be like two new signings
With no manager or DOF, it's impossible to say what players will be staying or going.
Sell him.
He'd be a good player for the likes of QPR, Stoke etc.
JC is far from being a rubbish player. Like Aquilani. We failed to successfully integrate them into the side. Give me Alberto over Adam and Joe over Downing any day.
Aqua can go as well, sick of hearing about him.
Let him go and play for siena, genoa, lecce, novara or some other lower division serie a team.

Keep them both.
Cole and Aquilani or Spearing and Henderson?
Trans, AA is a current Italian international and JC is enjoying a successful year in France. Selling them would not bring in much and their wages are what they are.
I'm with RAP, give them a chance.
I don't think either of them want to come back.
Certainly Aquilani ( and/or his 'people' ) has often been quoted as wanting to stay in Italy.
Joe Cole took a few games to get his match sharpness together but has been, more or less, an ever present with Lille, helping them get over a shakey start to finish 3rd and qualify for the CL.
With Hazard leaving, Lille will be keen to hang onto him and he has stated his desire to remain in France where he's less in the spotlight and enjoying his football again.
I would, however, tell Lille that if they want to keep him they have to buy not rent.
Reckon cole wants to stay in france, and aqua, well from start to finish he's been flakey with his attitude, there is obviously a flaw in his attitude whilst at LFC cos 3 managers cant all be wrong about him.
A clean slate is best for all,but their time is up at LFC
I'm confused as to why Aqua ever even signed for us in the first place.
Probably boosted his and his agents wages, whilst never really having any intention of staying long term.
I very much fear you're right, Taras. It's come to a pretty pass when we believe quality players don't want to come to Liverpool. After the blight of H&G and the sacking of Kenny and others, we're an empty shell. It makes me weep.
Did Aqualani ever actually play for Liverpool? I know you sold Alonso and got him but then didn't you loan him straight out and never saw him again?
aquilani played a number of games at the end of rafas last season and was head and shoulders above everyone else. he also looked good in preseason last year before kenny agreed to loan him out.
He played a few for us, he was great against spurs at Anfield but he just didn't want to be here. We should have loaned him out to a premier league club and not abroad!
He played a total of 28 times, scoring twice. IMO he made a healthy contribution to the team.
Who ever takes over. I can see a bit of a clear out. A new manager will want to put his own stamp on the team: Carra, Spearing, Aqua, Hendo, Adam, Maxi, Kuyt, Downing, Cole, Pacheco are all imo in with a chance of the boot
Hendo wont be going anywhere, rightly so
See that's the thing! If we do go with a well known manager! Then we're going to have to give him a big budget! If it's a lesser well known manager, then he could just be told to get on with what he's got and be given a small budget!
I'm wiling to wait to see who they get before I pull them apart! Unlike some!
If we get Pep or Martinez, do you think they would recall Pacheco?
Would love him to be given a good run in the side, boys got vision.
