I agree with your comments apart from Husseklepp who was a target previously. He is young talented and hungry for success. I say buy him if we can.
have you seen his goal stats? no way!!!
Going by the wikipedia stats (I know; not the most reliable source by a long mile) his ratio isn't that great. 133 games and 31 goals is not all that impressive, but to be fair I haven't seem him play but going on that stat alone I'd give him a miss too.
HaHa just wait til august when you can use the money you'll save to buy another pair of woeful central defenders...are you glad given said no?
hmmm in two minds about given. great keeper obviously, but at his age and on his wages???? id rather we continued with our policy of signing young talented players who will make us money down the line, and allow us to build a team for a few seasons. the goalie would be no exception to the rule.
Any great team has always got a blend of experience and youth. Goalkeepers can play at the highest level up 'til they are 40. Van Der Sar for example
but we couldnt afford a van der sar. who wants a 40 year old mediocrity with no resale value?
Agree...No Bellamy for me.
However, we should give it our best go to get in Bothroyd.Huskelepp doesn't look rough and tough enough for me and we have plenty of that ilk at the club just now.
Thus we should consider Given who is 34 or 35
it thought he was 37? and its still too much money and no resale value. and i'm done with fekkin loan deals. lets build a team for more than one season eh?
and everybody seems to say boothroyd is a stroppy cvnt.

no its stupidity to fork out 60k per week on his wages. celtic are doing the right thing by leaving bellers well alone. but the fact we can still pay 60k is good.

curly - because celtic are a well run club who despite 3 years of no cl money can still afford to try and attract players in that wage bracket.
While players are dissing Rangers to go to championship clubs, despite the lure of CL football, it is quite the reverse for Celtic, without having the carrot....Why is that??????
Celtic pay more maybe
Celtic pay more but Rangers win more.....
How come?

Don't forget Sol Campbell!
why must every article become an ever decreasing circle ultimately reverting back to the same old points scoring. I mean Sol Campbell ffs?
Pot kettle?
If anyone on here needs a broken record than tallulah is yer man.
what are you talking about establishment? in an earlier conversation I broke the news to you that for 100 years and more Rangers had an anti catholic employment policy. I'd have thought that this revelation must have sent shock waves thru your head as you claimed to have no knowledge of it whatsoever.
Not sure it is the reverse TCD, why did Bellamy , James et al knock back celtic last year for the championship? More money perhaps?
++++++++
Bellamy wanted to play for his home club....Suprise suprise.
Celtic could easily have afforded his £21k per week wages that Cardiff gave him.
David James did not go to Bristol City for more money.
And thank fek we didn't sign him
