He actually agreed to join City. He's just been paid by them to say he has.

JA606 Exclusive:
I am currently reporting live from just outside 'Stade Lille Metropole' and can currently confirm that E.Hazard will sign for Manchester United tonight, subject to ongoing personal discussions with SAF for a fee of approximately £29.3million.

sarcastic as it may be, it remains a mockery of the general sadness of our fanbase.

True

But it's fun

There's only one thing that makes a woman wetter than a penalty shootout, and that is the transfer window

The same is true for men...

'Hazard expressed a clear interest last month in joining Spurs,'
there seems to be a general thrust, that this was because he doesnt think he'll get playing time at city and Spurs were heading for CL qualification, I think its us or chelsea now.

mate, hazard is definitely not coming to united, the days of united making the big signings are gone, there's a pecking order now and were not at the top of it.

posted on 20/5/12

Earl, any more talk like that and I will be forced to make another Hazard article! I don't want to have to do that!

not buying that at all. Just because in recent years we've invested in youth, doesn't mean we can't splash the cash every now and again.
Especially with FFP coming in. Not going to lie and pretend I fully understand the implications of FFP, but it's certainly going to be more negative for clubs like City & Chelsea than us

Financial fair play is a non event. It won't be implemented. Platini has already confirmed this. Do you really think the likes of City and Chelsea would be showing such reckless abandonment if these sanctions were going to be applied?

posted on 20/5/12

Not saying we won't splash the cash now and again, just if a highly coveted player comes along, there are other clubs with considerably more financial clout to tempt them than there was in the days of rvn, rio, veron, rooney and the like.

posted on 20/5/12

Lol Hazard just scored!!!

And must have missed Platinis announcement. Figured they wouldn't have much effect anyway, but still think we can compete at times on player expense, just not consistently

We've only spent in excess of 20 million on one occasion since the Glazers took over so it's fair to say that we aren't in the market for big name and big money players. How do i feel about that? Not great. But that's how it is.

On a serious note, SAF took a turn for the worse last Friday, apparently he's recovered though
