Sokratis Papastathopoulos
He's a big name player. I don't think we'll get him.
You can guarantee some virtual unkown will have a blinding euro 2012 and will become the new must have name, thus making hazard nothing more than fish and chip paper.
Eriksen is a terrific player, I'd happily have UTD buy him.
He's central midfielder also.
God I would love Neymar.
Gotze as well would be unbelievable for us.
Kagawa has been more impressive than Gotze though.
VCD
This season maybe, but that is because gotze has been injured on and off for the best part of 5 months.
If you watched them both last season when they both playing regularly and were fit, you would not only see gotze is superior, but has undoubtably twice as much potential.
He won German player of the season when he was 19. That's player of the season, not young player of the season...
Don't delude yourself by thinking kagawa is better.
Ahhhh mate, you're not gettin' any of them.
Why would they go to United when they could go to City?
The balance has shifted.
I reckon, especially ater your poor showing in th CL last season, that you're probably way down the list of destinations for Euops best players.
Go on, give me shheeet, but deep down you know this.
City won the league on goal difference and went out of both European competitions at the same stage as United.
City may well have caught up with United in terms of ability but are by no means ahead, and still don't have the heritage.
Good luck in your attempts to lure Pep Guardiola out of retirement Mr blobby. You guys crack me up. We need a new left back by the way. Is Paul Konchesky still available?
Isn't heritage just another word for history!!!
Oh dear. Are you a Scouser in disguise??
I believe Konchesky is available and may be your only option of replacing the objectionable little dwarf you currently have in his position.
But can you afford him?????????????????
Soooooo..... Pep?! He's just left the club he loves to the core. And you lot are in for him?! Seriously?! You lot have a very high opinion me yourselves.
Give it up son.
You're not going to draw me.
Reallity is slapping you in the face like it has me over the years.
Get used to it.
Reality needs to slap you in the face. Brendan Rogers knows where you stand. Time for the people associated with your club to realise too
You are obviously a person with no original thought.
Most real Liverpool fans know exactly where we are, it's the media who covince prats like you to go on about Liverpools history and things.
At the end of the day, we have silverware. Do you???
At the end of the day, for someone who won't be drawn, you continue to come back. Anyways, i don't think any club sets out their stall at the start of the season and prioritises the Carling Cup. It is seen as a meaningless reserve trophy by most clubs.
However, Kenny deserves credit. He saw how weak your squad was, realised he'd bought a load of rubbish and immediately set about attempting to pick up the scraps and look at trophies where better teams weren't fussed. An intelligent man no doubt. You maybe should have stuck with him
