sorry I didn't leave full descriptions. Work has been horrid the last few days.

I did however base my results on my own opinions, but of course it's possible results could be swayed as in all competitions.

I think the only thing I would suggest for a future competition is that it is almost physically impossible to catch up with other teams as the season progresses as the big name players are all already in the league and can't see them being sold on for almost any value as that person won't be able to replace them as.

I'm hoping injuries will spice things up

Would be interesting if people couldn't sell injured players or if they were sold they remain injured. may close the pack up.

It's fine Welshy mate.

Mate, if anything, keeping players injured would not close the pack up as teams are more likely to desperately sell their injured players if they can get fresh ones in. If they can't sell their injured players, they're still not gonna want to let go of them.

I dunno, whichever you think Hodgey in terms of predictions.

In terms of injuries - I think players should stay injured if you sell them. Say City get Ronaldo injured for 3 weeks, and Messi for 4 weeks. He could then be forced to sell 1 of them at a (bit of) cut down price.

No, if there is one thing I am non-negotiable on it's the fact that players' injuries are void when you sell them. It ensures we have activity constantly. Sorry but that's not changing, it could possibly kill the league.

yeah the injuries thing is a good idea and it does enable transfers that wouldnt normally happen

Think everyone needs to accept Messi and Ronald aren't leaving City

If someone wants to sign a player that is injured then obviously the person who has them is going to want to keep that injured player as well.

German defence always been there for the taking but Italy been class. I want a German comeback for the sake of me winning big!!

How much do you stand to win, mate?

Kind of hope the Germans do comeback, even if it is just for the excitement of it. And I've a feeling it would be better in the long run for the tournament, Italy vs Spain has the potential to be a painfully boring final.

Well not that big, stuck a tenner on so around £70 but that includes ET and pens so hopefully they can comeback at 2-2 at least.

This game has proven Pirlo's ability. People said that he only played so well against England because we didn't press him, he's still dominated Germany who have Khedira and other midfielders better than England's.

Anyone that said Pirlo needed to prove themselves is an idiot.

Very true.

Buffon has looked shaky though...

posted on 28/6/12

Wouldn't say shaky at all myself, dealt with everything really. One at the start came off someones knee, and one where he pushed out ended out for a corner.

Ozil, penalty...

I don't think he's looked convincing when he's come for everything.

posted on 28/6/12

Don't know how you can look convincing, if you deal with it you deal with it. Had a great save from Reus fk.

Neuer looked worse imo, could have been beat a fair few times trying to predict too early where Italy will go. Fluffed it as well when clearing almost let Italy in as well.

Yeah Neuer was worse. I don't rate him as high as everyone else seemingly does.
