What, betting on yourself?

If Pardew is good enough for Newcastle, then Grayson is good enough for Villa.... stranger managerial appointments have been made.

He was the favourite last season at one point.

Grayson isn't good enough for anybody.

It'll be great for Huddersfield if he gets it, but it will destroy Villa.

The Villa fans wouldn't take to an appointment like Grayson, so after the McLeish debacle don't think they would go down the route of appointing Grayson.

Villa must be desperate for Championship football, that's all I can say!

Would not be a strange appointment, managing leeds was in his own words his dream job so there was little chance of him leaving of his own accord but now any other job is just that to him so he will deffinately take it if offered and he is already better than some managers in prem.he had us in top 6 for most of last season finishing 7th and we were in top 6 up to January this yr and still 9th when bates harshly sacked him.he would do a good job I think.

What qualities would he bring to the Villa job, superwhites?

What have you got against him Clive?he got Blackpool into the 2nd tier for 1st time in over 30yrs and if it was not for him they probably still be a L2 club with no 1 season in prem to have as a memorie.took over us and rescued a play off birth and 1 st full season got us auto.1st season in championship we finish 7th.

Clive, why don't you ask Grayson for a date?..

I'm sure you can explain to him what life in football is about, and I'm sure he'll take notice!..

Don't know what he'll do with the baseball bat mind, but I think he must know!.

Funny, I've asked Clive aka Graysons favorite aka if only I had a life a number of questions!..

A laugh when he's big enough to ask them all the time but to two faced to answer the ones asked eh?.

On a Grayson related side note, I have a lot of relatives
who are born and raised Sheff U fans. They are presently potting it, as they believe Grayson will lead
Huddersfield to a victory at the weekend.

So can't see him chucking it in with Udds so quickly.

If he'd stayed at Blackpool they wouldn't have got anywhere near the Prem.

Automatic promotion was still possible when he took over but he could only finish 4th and couldn't win the play-off semi.

He had a fantastic squad in League 1 yet could only stumble into 2nd place with 86 points on the last day of the season.

He should have at least got into the play-offs with the squad we had last season.

You haven't listed any qualities, only highlighted his underachievement.

he got l-eds half way up the championship.. a feat in itself..
he put up with master bates longer than any other bloke i know, without chinning the c-nt...
and he put up with the totally false and utterly prepostorous ideas that the fans had of where they "should be"...

If you think it's preposterous that Leeds should be promoted then why are you so upset with Bates?

bates is and has always used football fans... i have no affection for l-eds fans but know some who pay a lot of money and put in a lot of time following them.. i assume that goes for a lot of le-ds and other clubs fans..
bates does not give a sh-t about you, thats why i dont like him..
Clive, i really dont think that most of you are avoiding the obvious conclusion to his "reign" at elland road.. You must know whats coming??

38,you are a waist of air when l-eds are mentioned(no leaving letter out of the word leeds don't do any thing for me)god knows what it does for you.grayson got us to 7th but if half way makes you happy and the players he had in 1st season were more than good enough, you could only dream of having the likes of gradel at hudders.also Grayson has said many times in his interviews in last few yrs that leeds should be back in prem, every thing about leeds utd is top flight and we would not look out of place like some clubs do right now.if the clubs that finished top 6 in prem this season could vote the clubs they want in there with them leeds utd would be 1st on their list for sure and probably the reason you are so bitter.

Despite having come up from League 2 and going nowhere till Clark arrived, most Huddersfield fans seemed to be happy to see the back of him feeling that they should be walking League 1.

I hope he gets it. Treated appallingly by Leeds United and Lorimer couldn't wait to stick the knife in.

Not sure SG would be too bothered by anything
Lorimer says. Old Peter samples too much of his
own pub's product to be taken seriously by anyone.

he was treated badly by ken bates..
warnock will be the same..
le-ds can get back, but not with bates running the show..
our chairman fully backed the manager, the manager could not get what we needed..simple..
our ex manager had ideas above his station and cocked it up by getting caught out..
the two situations bear no resemblance at all..

38, I believe the 'e' button on your keyboard
is mis-firing. Did you spill your Horlicks on it?

Clive, the same zit that you breath with a hint of hate!..

Grayson is a much better man then you think you are, he tried doing the impossible where he was, and the people on here can slate him all they want!..

Warnock, I hope he does a little better, because the way it sounds on our boards the last day or three he must be getting to grips with how it was for Grayson!..

Say what you want, be buggered up that part of the season you and co want to give the Mick Jagger over, but I'd like to know how many of a teams best players any manager would want to lose without getting the backing needed to replace them!..

All you Muppet's blaming him are giving Bates right, funny because most blame him for everything as well!.

Clive, why don't you just go onto the Huddersfield board as that is the club Grayson is managing now.
