Shelvey + Robinson + Coady = Giggs + Park + £4m

posted on 26/5/12

So my two separate deals are:

Coates + Kelly + Suso = Ferdinand + £10m

Shelvey + Robinson + Coady = Park + Giggs + £4m

posted on 26/5/12

Renegade, How about £20m + Ferdinand = Kelly + Coates + Suso?

If you don't want to include Kelly, Then Coates + Suso = Ferdinand + £3m?

An enquiry about hendo, what would you want for him

posted on 27/5/12

Renegade, can you reply to my new offer

Renegade,

Kelly + £42m?

posted on 27/5/12

In fact

Hendo + £11m for Clichy?
---------
I'd rather keep clichy for now, I've not decided between him and evra yet

Barry for hendo and 7m

Hendo for Bentley + Gomes + £8m

posted on 27/5/12

No interest in that at all. Not giving money and Hendo for Barry. Prefer to have Hendo than Barry personally.
-----------
Ok

Hendo + Enrique + £2m for Clichy
-------
It's going to be a no to that, Enrique tailed off quite severely for us and he does need to sort out a few things to regain his earlier form

Hendo + Wisdom + Gulacsi for Fletcher

posted on 27/5/12

Just because fletcher is injured in real life, doesn't mean he is injured in the game.

A couple months poor form doesn't change the fact he's a proven quality premier league lb.
----------
Those bad 4/5 months really did affect him badly and its not worth me losing a genuinely tough lb choice for an inferior lb and a sub

What if I include £4m?

posted on 27/5/12

It wasn't 4/5 months

Considered a good signing by the majority of Liverpool fans
----------
Unfortunate to say, but it really was, he was almost faultless in the first half off the season, but he tailed off sadly and because our backup lb andrb were injured a lot in that part of the season, he wasn't given a chance to be rested and take the pressure off him

Aye but no 4/5 months. 5 months would be end of december, january, february, march, april and start of May. Which is the majority of the season.
---------
It was probably closer to 4 than 5 months but he was the first to drop his form before most of the team turned off in the league, I do hope he recovers his form, as the problems he does have could be coached out of him

Nonsense.

Enrique has proved himself to be a top Premier League full back at Newcastle and then for the first half of the season at Liverpool.
----------
If the Enrique that had started the season had maintained his form, I'd be bugging you constantly for him, but he hasn't

You're far too fickle.

Looking at the Liverpool board there seems to be absolutely no worrying about the lb position.
-----------
Because we have many other problems before considering the lb position
We have
A 20m winger who has done nothing
We need at least 2 wingers to replace the outgoing maxi and kuyt
A 35m striker who didn't perform for a lot of the season and for a big man who supposedly good with his head, misses some pretty easy chances with it
Another striker who feels he has do it all by himself, made worse by the fact that most of the time he was right
We do need to buy a good few players with a fairly small budget, including a striker that can put it in the net
Our captain being reduced to a luxury player because of his niggles

And I've not even gotten started on the fact that our manager and a lot of the highers up have been sacked and not gotten a managing structure in place yet

What probably made him stand out more was the fact that Johnson, agger (when fit) and skrtel (when paired with agger) maintained their form through most of the season, those 3 were one of the few good points of our season and it made enriques errors stand out that bit more

Last offer:

Fletcher +£5m = Gulacsi + Hendo + Wisdom

Ye but we all know that Glen Johnson is poor.

It's as I said, Enrique has proved himself to be a quality premier league full back. A few months below par form doesn't change that.

Unless you judge a player on form and not class. But that would be silly.
---------
You seem to be doing the same with Johnson, he has been fantastic defending and going forward for a while now and fully justified in beings England's no1 RB.

And Enrique is as much a case as player worked out how to get the better of him combined with a drop in form. Unless it is coached out of him to not try and barge every player off the ball and try to beat them for pace, I fear we will be seeing the Enrique of 2012 rather than the Enrique of 2011

posted on 27/5/12

We all know Johnson shouldn't be England's first choice rb
---------
Richards seems to have a fundamental problem in his game which stops good managers from picking him for big games, and jones isn't ready yet

Ye I'm sure after years of playing football and being coached at the highest level Enrique needs to be coached that he can't just barge players out the way. Good point
-----------
If he keeps doing it, don't be surprised if agger and Johnson get a good few games at lb

£30m + Rio is quite tempting.

Make it £40m and I'd do it.
