Most exciting player ever

From who I've seen a lot of, I'd say Hendo, Ronnie, Williams and Trump (he may have erupted onto the scene recently but I have seen him play a few times before the WC and thought he was a star of the future.) Martin Gould is a good one to watch too, but not in the same class as those previously mentioned YET.

Gould is a very good player and a great shot player but not yet in the league of the big guys just yet.

Trump is the closet player to getting into that group right now but i would wait to see how things pan out with him before i would put him in that group.

Gotta be ronnie when he's on form thou I loved peak hendry too. I love watching aggressive players. When I was a boy I never liked Alex Higgins, I thought he was very creepy watching his vids now thou I do appreciate him more. How he could pot like that with they head movements. That's my 3.

Oh and if trump continues to pot like that an get a bit more control of the White then Hel be up there too.

I also love watching Ronnie in full flow and he would be my choice as well for most exciting player to watch.

When Hendry came onto the scene he was also brilliantly exciting to watch but he did it with such relentless consistency that it became the norm.

As for Jimmy, who can forget that amazing cue power. He pulled off some amazing shots that still leave my draw dropping.

Actually my last comment is unfair, judd is already up there. Love the way he just goes for any pot and with a touch of seasoning hel be lethal. I said it at the end of wc final if it's a Higgins trump final next year I think trump will run away with it.

in terms of sheer entertainment, jimmy white or ronnie o'sullivan, best ever stephen hendry and best match player john higgins

Trump has been promicing for a while now and it was great to see him get to the final by playing some exciting snooker. I said before that it was his inexperience coupled with Higgins experience that lost him the final.

A real breath of fresh air to see him in the final. I would love to see him win a few more as he is a great talent.

Paul Hunter was one to watch :'(

For me Ronnie O'Sullivan has been the most exciting player ever. With Alex Higgins a nearby second.

One for the future is Judd Trump who I think could match or even exceed Ronnie.

Paul Hunter is still missed TSC, it is still such a sad thing but as long as fans like us remember him then his memory wont die.

LM, Ronnie is something else isnt he. He plays some draw droppingly good snooker at times.

Jimmy was the most exciting when he first broke into the game at the beginning of the 1980s.

Jimmy was exciting but i feel that Ronnie took it to another level.

For me it will always be Higgy. The atmosphere really was electric when he was playing, and even though most were routing for him, his opponents loved playing in that atmosphere also. Even if the snooker wasn't that good, there was just always such a buzz when Alex played - the original, and most exciting player there has been. And I never get tired of watching 'that break'.

I doubt that anyone will forget Alex Higgins. He did hold a presence at the table.

I would have to vote for myself to be honest. I dont knock in many pots but its pretty exciting stuff when I am at the table. On one occasion, I thrashed at a long red, missed and I think all 22 balls were moving around the table at the same time

For sheer excitement it was always Alex Higgins. You never knew what he was going to do next. In his heyday White was as good as any of them and despite O'Sullivan's undoubted ability he all too often provided no entertainment.
