SORRY...NO OFFENCE MEANT...i'm not aware of the boy...where does he play...i'll asume he's a talent as you seem pretty peeved....
He's a Centre Back. Plays regularly for England U19s. Arsenal put in a big bid (£3m) abour 18 months ago. Played one game for us last season, spent last couple of months on loan at Stevenage.
ah ok....well we sure are in the market for cb's...
Arsenal put in a 3m bid? Is that a fact or just BS? Surely we Would have sold him? if he is worth 3m he would be getting in the team surely. Sadly we will have to accept any decent bid I am sure. We are no longer capable of holding onto good players or even half decent players!
Clubs not capable of anything at this time. hard to know what interest there is in any takeover but right now we're as vulnerable as they come to the vultures to pick our bones - Gunter, Lascelles, Blackstock, Camp must all be attracting interest. So be it so long as we get market value and dont just cave into the first offer that comes in. Lets face it Arthur and co have no history of getting value for our players in the transfer market but surely if we could raise 4 or 5 million we could rebuild with youth, freebies and lower league signings?? Although I'm far from convinced we have the people in power to be trusted with such important decisions??
it was actually £5million not £3million! http://www.thisisnottingham.co.uk/Nottingham-Forest-rejected-163-5m-bid-rookie-defender-Lascelles-January/story-12246464-detail/story.html
say we got 2million up front for him and another 2.5million for gunter. surely we could re-invest that into some decent young players
If we had say £5m from the sale of Gunter and Lascelles we could surely resign Lynch and maybe Anderson. Promote Freeman, Morgan and Darlow into the first team squad and sign up some freebies from the market. I see Cardiff got Lewis today who'd have been an excellent keeper if we decided to cash in on Camp. Problem at Forest is always the same, no urgency and by the time we get around to looking at the squad all the best options are already gone. We're too busy organising booze ups in flirida, good to see we have our priorities right???

ye ray i was thinking the same myself jetting to the USA who we flying with ryanair 10 euro flights very strange indeed for a club (supposedly) with no money
Check out the front office section of the Orlando City website and the profiles of the owners. That might indicate why Forest are travelling there. Cost to NFFC zero. We might even be meeting our new owners?

Forest owned by a Forest fan, how could that possibly fail?

Lloyd, if we can afford to offer McCleary £10,000 a week then we can't be as skint as we fear. I'm sure Cotterill will be able to do something with the team, even if it is only season long loans.
We have to use what resources we have wisely, so if we can get a few million for a young player then we have to take it. Knowing our club we'd probably lose him on a free anyway.
