The PFA can go suck c_ck. These players need to be told they're not above the rules and Law.

He should just retire, football is clearly making him go bonkers.

Judging by the actions of those who share his DNA, football might be the only thing that's keeping him sane x

I read this morning that the plan is to let him train with the reserves and try to get rid of him during the January transfer window.

Leeds or Millwall might, their supporters would take him as one of their own.

He needs to retire for his own sake as welll as ours however Terry, Keene, Charlton, Shearer, Smith, Thatcher, all players who have commited more than one act of violence on a football pitch, all premeditated, so whats worse in a court of law manslaughter with a red mist or cold blooded murder?

Not condoning Barton but there shouldnt just be one law for him and another for Terry, so should they both be shown the door.

Barton is top quality entertainment.

Lee, any player who commits a violent act should be shown the door if it's proved it was premeditated.

Barton elbowing Tevez, he could probably justify that as being done in the heat of the moment. But what he did to Aguero, we can all see him walk up behind him and put the boot in pretty viciously. Now that WAS cold and he should be gone, end of.

That said, I'm surprised anyone employed him in the first place. We all saw what a nutter he was when we had him and his stint at Newcastle did him no favours. QPR really made a rod for their own back taking him on.

Charlton? Jackie or Bobby?

Why should Joey just be sacked for gross misconduct. asuming what Joey said is true then the player that told him to go ahead and do that, and try to get a city player sent off should also be sacke d for gross misconduct. However if Joey is lieing about this then yes a server punishement is required.

Sorry Wensdi didnt see you comment til now, jackie of course while playing for leeds. It appears in his autobiography, I dont think he names names but I think it was a "Crazy" Liverpool player at the time. Mind in later years with not speaking to St Bobby he might look back with a touch of regret.

Nyoung, erm about the other player, JB is captain shouldnt he be the one doing the telling? Or do we think he thought oh thats a good idea?
