Lets list Scotlands...

1) Never, ever, getting out of a group stage.
2) McCallisters penalty v England 96
3) Hendry twisting and turning in front, and then behind, Gazza.
4) Costa Rica.

Personally, I liked when Ronaldo got the better of Rooney with the whole winking and sending off. Then Ronaldo scoring the winning Penalty to rub salt into the wounds.

What was great in the aftermath was the claiming Fergie would have to sell Ronaldo. As if Fergie was going to sell one of his players based on him doing England over - Fergie loved it the most!

For me it had to be the last World Cup when it finally sunk into to their little brains that England are no more than an average team. Watching Gareth Barry being ripped a new one by Ozil was the defining moment for me.

Shearers reaction to the ronaldo rooney incident highlighted the worst aspects of the english psyche, the way their media refer to foreigners is shamefull, take the recent treatment of blatter because they didn't get the world cup. Fact is euro 96 had the lowest attendance levels for a major tournament.
