Whelan never shuts his trap, so I don't know what to think. If Sir Alex had plans to retire at the end of next season, I can't think of anyone he'd be less likely to tell than that motormouth.

I'm not sure about the timeline whelan has given. I figure two more seasons at most. Sir alex. Love and respect whenever you decide to leave.

Whelen's a gobshite, pure and simple. Always poking his nose in other clubs business and situations that don't affect him in the slightest. People get nose bleeds every day.

On a serious note, if he was to retire next season, I couldn't see past Pep, who recently said he was waiting for a club to 'seduce' him.
