Surely this is classed as a spam article, i've read it before, a few times actually.

When will the admins ban this fool!!!

hamilton seems to be starting to believe it himself based on that interview.

he is getting a dangerously negative mindset and needs to sort himself out.

Button looked hopeless against a Caterham, goodness what in the name is going on at Mclaren!

Can somebody please give me an overview?

Just watched Lewis' interview. Sounded like he's given up.

Yet they are always right!
pseudo experts say all is well at Mclaren, yet results and performances don't reflect that!

SouthL just think of the usual nonsense that Mclaren strategists and pitcrew get up to then you'll have the whole picture!

Slow pit stops? Tactical errors? And something so stupid it makes you laugh?

posted on 27/5/12

there was no team problem at all with hamilton. he just didnt win. pit stops were fine, stratgey was same as everyone else's. he got left on the start and lost a couple of places and then wasnt as quick as alonso at the end of the first stint so got passed. just a parade after that. looked like his tyres were going off at the end but he hung on for 5th.

Goodness here we go again, 4.6 sec Mc pitstop compared to 3.3s Ferrari you consider this fine!

I said it before and I will say it again Kovalainen is way better than Button!

They only look decent for Button!

what do those times represent ? everyone 2 stopped didnt they ? so what does the 12-13 second period represent ? it's too quick for time spent in the pit lane isnt it ?

whatever the figures represent, they dont strike me as having determined the result of the race, not least because the order is nothing like the order of race finishers. if hamilton is really the best driver that has ever lived, he should be capable of making up 0.2 seconds over the course of the race.

The times represent the time lost in having to slow down for pit entry, the time of the pit stop and the time to exit the pit lane.

The drivers only stopped once for tyres and McLaren were the 4th fastest team after Mercedes, Ferrari and Red Bull.

The pit stops did not impact on the race result but Hamilton felt that he was hampered by a poor setting on his launch control system and unhappy that the team did not keep him posted about his gap behind Vettel.

The team should have told him about how many seconds Vettel had in his pocket. Hamilton would then have taken the risk to close up in order to prevent Vettel coming out ahead of him.

People don't you all just get tired of making the same excuses for Mclaren, week-in week-out the same BS is happening, lack of communication, pitstops, strategy, lack of pace etc.

Whats for sure is Hamilton needs to leave Mclaren, clearly they have a lot of issues to sort out!

Ever since Button arrived at Mclaren nothing but calamity has befallen Mclaren, they went from a decent team to complete ameteurs!

i went for lunch half way through

i really think that while both mclaren drivers suffered earlier in the season as a result of team blunders, hamilton has now just got into a negative mindset and is looking for excuses.

the notion that he did not perform in the race to his own expectations, as a result of the team not alerting him to vettel's track position strikes me as clutching at straws.

hamilton was dropping off the back of vettel at the end as it was and i can not believe that this communication issue was the cause of his position today. so far as i know the radios are two way, and i would be amazed if mcclaren failed to answer a request from the driver for a timecheck on vettel anyway.

Clearly JPB 's IQ is not much higher than the number of points Button's accumulated this season

JPB. (U1059)

After looking at the timing difference again Hamilton was 1.9 secs behind Alonso and 21.3 secs behind Vettel before Vettel pitted.

As a pit stop would have lost Vettel 25 secs then strategically Hamilton was safe for his position. So I don't think I could lay the blame at the team for the lost position

posted on 27/5/12

JPB you clearly didn't watch the race otherwise you would know everyone 1 stopped as it was mentioned about 80 times on commentary!

I actually agree with this article and the sooner hamilton is at red bull the better in my eyes!

Also the bbc are a joke! There headline is " Webber wins THRILLING monaco gp" Are they for real! Must of been watching a completely different race to me then. It was the biggest snoozefest I have ever witnessed!

posted on 27/5/12

It was the BBC's fault that hamilton didnt win

Down with the BBC

Hammy should only appear on ITV from now on
