has to be the only explanation for his shocking shocking performance

I'm not saying Fulop is implicated, as no player's name has yet been mentioned, but his performance that game should be the subject of investigation by itself!

"Two Italian national team footballers have been placed under investigation in a widening match-fixing scandal, just days before the European football championships.

The crisis now facing the Italian national team – known as the Azzurri – recalls the Calciopoli match-influencing investigation in 2006, which broke just as players were preparing for the World Cup, which Italy went on to win."

Some arrests took place in Hungary I'm reading, no mention of Hungarian players in the Prem.

Those involved include the manager of Juventus and captain of Lazio.

Very early reports.

Italians at in again

Can you imagine how many years English clubs would be banned from Europe, even the national team, if we were involved in half of this stuff..

Lol remember Grobelaar?

posted on 29/5/12

Was Grobelaar evidence of institutional corruption in English football? I personally think not.

There was a culture of corruption at some clubs in Italy, which I assumed was old news. If these reports are true, Italian football is a disgrace once again.

On the point of repercussions, they (UEFA) would of banned our clubs from Europe for years if it was us first time round. Italy will get a slap on the wrist, once again...

Goal ruled out, 2 penaltys missed and a sending off, also acted like a child in sending kaboul off ..ref and linesmans fault but both should of been punished.. i mean come on.. 1 bad decision in a game is bad enough but 4 in 1 half

Sorry mate but your talking rubbish.. i have watched that half of football about ten times

Kaboul got puulled to the ground in front of the ref and got booked because he told the linesman to go to spec savers. then just shouldered someone off the ball and the ref could not wait to send him off

Handball on the line was so clear to see and the offside well, lets not even go there.. worst dispaly ever and no punishment.. That is why you will get corruption coming into the prem league

ohh please if thats a booking then lets make football a no contact sport and rename it netball

If that challenge was a yellow then every game would finish about 4 aside

I think that individuals over the Prem's history may have been influenced at one time or another but deeply ingrained bribing and dodgy betting scandals are something that is not inherent in Premier League history unlike Serie A, Eastern European leagues and a whole host of Asian leagues.

The bookies over here seem much sharper at actually saying something if there is a strange spike in betting. Something probably is "overlooked" in Italy throughout last season it seems......

No reason to think Foolflop couldn't be involved in something. It does happen in football, and you'd expect the games with so much at stake to be targeted.
