BRILLIANT BRILLIANT BRILLIANT Just what we needed our own Steve G signed on for two years. Agree 100% about strikers and defenders, forget the strikers we need a right back and a central defender as a must.
I also think this will mean Robinson staying, can't wait for the season to start.

Good news indeed - he's great of course, if a little stroppy at times.
Surely KR intends to stay - what with Gleeson, Harford and Wright recently, Alan Smith in talks (as well as the other 5 or so confirmations before).
Would they all be considering it if they think he's going to be off? I'm not saying 'never', I'm just saying 'maybe not now'.
Its great news about Gleeson, but I must disagree with you over the need for a Striker rather than a Defender, in only 11 matches did the defence let in more than 1 goal, but the majority of the games MK Dons had overwelming possession that wasn't turned into goals. If Karl can over have one player, I would rather he got a Central Strike Figure rather than a Defender (of course if he can get a Buy one, get one free deal so much the better)
Bill I would agree if we had not scored more goals than other teams in the division but we did score from all over the park. The defence however did not play to well against the better teams. All good teams are built on a sturdy defence.
I am not saying we could not do with a 20 goal striker but Bowditch almost got there and should be better next season. The other thing is good strikers don't come cheap, we would have to take a chance (like Peterborough do)

The problem is Ron, that against the other teams in the Top 6 the only time MK Dons scored more than 1 goal in the regular season was against Steveage when they scored 2 (unfortunately Stevenage scored 4). Out of a possible 30 points, MK Dons only got 10.
Lets see what Robinson thinks he needs, I am sure any new signings will tell.
The only other problem with an out and out goal scorer is they do somtimes go off form. But a good goal scorer could give us a plan "B"
Bill, it's not a case of what needs improvement as such, it's more a case of what needs repairing, I believe we played half an hour against Walsall with one defender on the pitch after we used our subs. No coincidences there, we simply had no fit defenders, therefore if we're going to be of a similar squad size or around about that next season, we need to be able to have reliable defenders there, instead of having Gleeson at right back, and Shaun Williams in defence for most of the season!
Great news about Stevie G & Robbo. At one time I thought both would go. So have a beer on me gents & lassies. or if you prefer

I thought mk were much better over the 2 games than hudders and deserved to be in final and you were easy on the eye especially in 2nd game so if you do keep team together can see you getting top 2 next season
