Takeover caution...?

I think people are getting too far ahead of themselves, changes like that are not cheap and generally come with the investment of a multi billionaire arab, in this case with the likelyhood of it happening to us is very slight as Mr Arab will go to Forest. We shall get the American who will only change our name.

F.c United of Leeds Snowbears.

Is that fact about Forest? Last I heard could be either of us, no further info for 9 - 10 days.

Who's getting ahead of themselves..?

What if the new buyer, should there be one, rename the Kop the Ken Bates stand...? As a thank you...!

The YEP are clutching at straws and working on pure speculation and guesswork, as they have 4 articles now. The latest this morning is a USA group, but not MLS or any of the others mentioned. The arab thing looks dead and buried as it seems Forest are the target. One thing for sure though, Something is happening, but we'll just need to be patient and of course it all may come to nothing.

As for naming the stadium, I say great because it would mean the new owners have bought back the ground and TA. £14.5m to buy back ER, which would mean some serious wedge, on top of the price of the club. Stadium naming also gets around the premier leagues finance rules, because it can bring in multi millions of revenue.

No chance anyone would want to change the colours, as our history has always been white (Since Revies glory team)

Revie changed the colours as Real Madrid were so successful, we haven't been of late, new broom and all that, perhaps any new buyer might feel it the right time.

Eric anyone coming in and trying to change the colours will be in trouble. Look at Cardiff, a team with ziltch history and the owners have backed down. Leeds under Revie were better than Madrid and all our forays into Europe has been in white, even a few years ago. Everything we've ever won was in white, so no chance mate

Name a owner in England football that's changed a football clubs colours in last 20 years? get out the 60s and into modem game pls

When I first read the headline, I thought, this is just what I think, got to be cautious about who comes in.

A dodgy yank who knows Sweet FA about football.

A fake billion who puts the club into debt etc etc.

But WTF you go on about changing colour of kit and renaming ground.

Thats the least of our worries.

Worst article i've ever read on here.

1 star !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Changing our colours now will not be as simple as it was in the 60's.

Back then there was no history of success in our blue and yellow strip. No famous photos of the captain raised aloft holding th FA Cup, no video footage of our league successes or memories of playing European giants live in front of a worldwide audience of millions.

The yellow/blue strip was not memorable for those reasons, and for those reasons the all white one is.

History does count, if you've got one.

The reality is that nothing is likely to happen anytime soon if at all. Bates likes to dangle his little carrot and then pull it at the last moment.

Nothing is likely to happen anytime soon...?

How will we know when nothing has actually happened StevieDee..? How would such an event be measured...?

Has anything happen Monsieur Oignon?

Let's look at the situation tomorrow and I suspect nothing will have happened then either.

I doubt anything of note will take place in June either.

You can't start talking about anything happening, I still want to know how you know nothing has happened...?

Start a conversation on anything happening and we'll soon slip to levels of talking about something happening...!

Then where would we be...?
