But how many of them are spending themselves into trouble. Only 3 teams can get promoted and those that spend big and don't will struggle when the new financial rules start next season.
I accept we will spend within a certain budget, ie expenditure will equal income.
Last season we were tipped to end up 16th or 17th and look what happened.
Keep the faith.
MOT
Odds at beginning of last season were mostly 7th.

We have the worst chairman, Leicester nearly went bust but got bought by somebody who will invest, protest and get bates out. Premiership prices league two wages, this is not even about transfer fees anymore.
Don't forget that Bates has tried and succeeded in levelling the ship and spending too much is a sure way to go back to the disaster of before. If we go up I recall that we have to make payments, it is frustrating that other teams are spending more than us but if they fail they will pay the price. do we really want to risk that again?
I know we have to make payments to other creditors if we get into the premier league by x year, anybody know when this is ?, some say this year, some say next anybody know when these payments are supposed to be made ?
2013 I believe.
I think payments are around 5/6 mill which might not sound a lot compared to riches on offer supposedly in prem but you still need that 5/6 mill to be available once promoted and that is before you get the prem money, di Leeds have that sort of money spare?
Reportedly a player who left us this summer said there wasn't a desire at the top for us to go up last season. After our activity in Jan transfer window I can well believe that, crazy as it must seem.
Looks like another season in the c'ship then ?, jonty have you spoke to ww about 30/7/11 yet ?
His comments were in reference to last season I believe but have you seen anything to indicate were going to achieve bates stated aim of promotion this year?
Will be in south of France playing tennis on 30th!

Jonty...What about all the millions Pappa is taking out of the club? He only has to put £6m backin and he makes a minimum of £80m over the following 4 years.
Whose the mystery player you're quoting to bad mouth our chairman?
You get dumber by the day!
