"He's done will with Swansea but we're a big club"
It's a big jUmp for Rogers, 3 whole league places
It's a bit of a poison chalice Liverpool, they need to rebuild steadily if they want to get past also improving clubs like Everton Newcastle an spurs.

catching up with these clubs would be an achievement for a new Liverpool manager.
Personally I think he's a good choice, he seems like a pretty grounded and realistic guy to me - unlike many of the Liverpool fans. To be fair Liverpool are a much bigger club than Swansea - wonder how much he will have to spend. He couldn't possibly buy any worse than his predecessors.
What I find funny is how, just two weeks ago when it appeared that Rodgers was not intrested, that they would never want him in the first place.
And now if you go onto the Liverpool board you will see some of the most incredible spin, as to how great he is and all these people now endorse him.
Its been so long since you lot changed managers you've forgotten what its like. There is an old Irish joke about the 3 stages of marrying off your daughter:
who will we have
who will we get
who'll have us
Liverpool were somewhere between stage 2 and 3.
said it before... will say it again ..who`s NEXT?
I think he will do well if given the oppurtunity. You just know if they don't have a great 6 months as they adjust to his style the fans will boo him out the ground though.
He wasn't my first choice
Or my second
Or my third
But it is fair to be a excited about it because of the style of football he plays.
If that's spin then fair enough

Nothing wrong with that.
