I haven't enjoyed the last few weeks due to a lot of uncertainty, but with Brendan Rogers now announced as manager we can look forward to entertaining football, quality signings and hopefully some more positive results. I accept it is a long-term plan and wouldn't expect it any other way, in fact it's quite a relief. I back the owners completely, but I didn't want us to turn into a club who didn't give managers a chance. Finally, we will hopefully have stability on and off the pitch for the first time in a long time.
Welcome to Anfield, Brendan. (We need a nickname for him )
his press conference today seems to have excited a lot of fans
BRrrrrrrrrrr
A warm welcome to him!
How long do you think it will take him to learn all about LFC's illustrious history and traditions given that he's now our manager but has no previous connection with the club?
Talks cheap, let's see how supportive you are when he has a bad run of results, if recent history is anything to go by, I'll wager the answer will be.................not very.
thank you for that very useful input into the article tb
Toblerone Boots with his token bitter post on a Liverpool article.
His nickname is Buck!!
TB is considerate like that
I know jenners
Fred - bitter moi? Non mon cheri. Have you 'moved on' from your Rafa obsession now then mate, or will you be shouting for his return the first time Rodgers has a mare?
Bad results happen. It's during the tough times that you have to stick together. As long as the genuine fans are supportive that's what matters.
That's not happened with the last 2 incumbents though has it?.......Woy in particular was definitely 'walking alone' when the results weren't going for you & there were plenty wanting 'The King' to be shot, before the Yanks put him out of misery. What will make them have more patience with for Mr Rodgers?
Toblerone
Why do you ALWAYS comment negativly on the liverpool board. Go back to the crack you came from
Already a huge fan of Buck

not generalising at all there tb, some of the supporters (myself included) support our manager and club when it goes bad!
Well, I wasn't one of them. Shame on those 'fans'. I didn't and still don't call him 'Woy' either.
If Jose rates him then yer on a winner
Hodgson immediately paid £4m for konchesky and £5m for poulsen so im not suprised the fans got on his back.
It was his constant praising of the opposition that go on everyones nerves. saying there was no disgrace in losing to teams just hit home that he didnt know what was expected of him.
Rodgers WILL be given time...he HAS to be be given time.
Will there be the yearly MOYES out clamour from your lot around christmas TB?

Exactly, and I'd probably have even tolerated this for a few more weeks if the football was good, but it was abysmal.
Poulsen.
Can you believe he is captain for Denmark ahead of Agger?
It was longball football in exactly the same mould as fulham. We loaned out a far better left back in insua to accommodate a slow, talentless journeyman who should not have got anywhere near a liverpool shirt.
As for poulsen, we paid £5m but also let them have aquilani on loan without having to pay a fee. utterly ridiculous.
