Well yeah, i reakon players probably get bonuses on how many shirts with their names are sold.

So if a lot more people buy it simply for the 67 then he might be quids in?

Just an idea.

It has always been a dream of mine to play for a club like Celtic. After reading the club’s incredible history I have chosen 67 as my squad number to show appreciation to the 1967 squad.

Translation.

I would have moved to any club that would pay me a decent wage but now i am here I have thought of a cunning way to get onside with the fans before I kick a ball.

Pass the sick bag!

I wonder if he will be greeted the same way Mark Walters was?

MWTS- Wasn't Walter Smith interested in him? So were Aston Villa, so if you do not think that they can compete financially with Celtic then that is your opinion.

Man with half a brain

What shirt number would get onside with you then 1690?
Re-arrange these two words to form a well known phrase which sums you up.

Bag Baw.

I'm surprised it's taken Lawwell so long to come up with a player to wear 67,Celtic fans will buy his name and number by the barrowload.Wanyama wanted that number,so he did.

Bertie.

If a player signed for Rangers and although 72 was not an achievement on a par with 67 its still worthy of note And he went for that shirt number to play up to the masses I would be embarrased.

Why would 1690 get onside with me, as if you are reffering to battles etc that have nothing to do with football and you want to start debating these issues im not realy interested in spending time on them.

And if we want to start re-arranging words try these.

Up Grow.

wow, an I D I O T made a m o n k e y impression, by your book then we're all racists, i suppost then, after your lot went to manchester and ruined it that makes you all thugs or when your lot went abroad and made Na-zi-Salutes to opposing fans, does that mean you are all....

We talking about Ki now?

yes bobby-shaftend, i was talking about the player you didn't put up a link to

Fair play to the lad for trying to connect to the fans. How many players now a days don't even try to learn about the club they are signing for? I respect him for learning about our club before he signed, its a small gesture but a good one.

You never know, maybe Neil Lennon would stop being harassed if he changed his name to 1690!
