For the first time in my life I'm actually happy with the squad we've got so it's a bit hard to single out any new players unless someone definately leaves.
Not likely to happen but I'd go for Richard Dunne as I still think he could challenge for a place and would definaetly help some of our younger defenders.
I don't particularly want to see Sturridge or RvP in the squad next season.
Cheick Ismaël Tioté - £27m
A strong combative regista who could not only replace De Jong should he leave, but also fill in for Barry. Furthermore he is the only player I have seen anywhere who has the skill, mobility and physical presence to fill in for Yaya, whom we miss considerably when unavailable for selection.
I think playing for City would be an attractive prospect for him, particularly the opportunity to learn from his countrymen Yaya and Kolo. May be available for as little as £20m x
Inky - I believe the phrase is 'expand or die' x
Think you could do with a direct winger like Bale. Not many of those types of player out there, but think he'd be good for you
Don mata - but what do you think is the maximum City (or any club for that matter) should pay for Bale? You can include a transfer swap if you wish x
We can only expand if we lose players and we don't know who's leaving yet.
We do need another CB and Martinez looks like he fits our profile.
Adam Johnson + 32m?
Or possibly add another player you don't need
Inky - hence you can make any assumptions you please. I only think we'll buy Martinez if Kolo is definitely leaving. I almost suggested a centrehalf, however I think De Jong is most likely to leave, and Yaya is the player City most require cover for x
OK, Mario Gomez in for Mario.
Don mata - I think I'd probably go for that, with Johnson valued somewhere between £10m and £20m. I think that would also be a good deal for both clubs and both players. Bale makes a move up, and Johnson gets the game time he craves x
Inky - straight swap? It's doable, but then I imagine that would make Dzeko surplus to requirements; we won't need two big men. How about straight swap with Dzeko instead, maybe an extra £10m from our side x
Mats Hummels.
I think you could do with another central defender. Kompany is the best defender in world football, in my opinion. If you had another world class defender then I think you could progress much further in the Champions League, I was going to say a Spanish defender, but I don't know how likely they'd be to leave either Barcelona or Real Madrid.
Bayern Munich are interested in Dzeko. So he'd probably be the better one to swap.

If this is true then surely this makes Gomez surplus to requirements
If we were to sign Gomez then we would need to sign a winger (Bale?), to feed him!
Feed the Gomez and he will score! x
If we could have anyone...
In: Alonso, think we could accomodate a more deepseated creative midfielder, in fact I think that sort of player would be perfect for us.
In: Chiellini, we definitely need a cb, I'd rather see us bring in someone young who will ultimately become VKs partner in 1 to 2 seasons when Lescott is no longer capable of playing as much as he does, but I don't really know any so just picked a good one!
In: Guidetti, or at least loaned out to a PL club to prove himself in this league.
In: Striker, only if Tevez or Dzeko leave. Not too keen on RVP though as he did well to stay fit last season, but is still very injury prone, as is Sneijder.
In: Wide midfielder, you could see why we were interested in Hazard, but I don't think Bale is worth in excess of 40m at all like a lot of giddy spurlets seem to think, I wouldn't want the club to be held ransom.
Out: I wouldn't be suprised if any of AJ, Dzeko, Tevez, NDJ, Milner, Kolo, RSC, Ade, Bridge, Weiss, leave.
If we were to try for Bale then surely any swap deal should, first and foremost involve Adebayor, who would love to go to Spurs and City would love to get him off the payroll. This would be a bigger sweetener for Spurs then a swap with AJ.
Ade has already proved himself at Spurs although it will be interesting to see how his attitude holds up once he has his contract. Some gooners did warn us about this once we signed him
If we sell Ade to Spurs he will score the winning goal for them against us at least on one occassion next season though!
Thinking about it I am at a loss of who to sign. I'm presuming our Goalie will stay the same, the back 6 players will stay as they are but do we need to strengthen in the centre for injuries?
Our Defensive midfielder will remain Barry and De Jong unless we want to get our money back for Nigel as he's nearing the last year of his contract.
Box to box player will remain the same as will our 3 creative midfield players and cant think of anyone I would replace.
Leaving the forwards, not keen of Tevez for obvious reasons and if he goes we will need a top class replacement. If they all stay though do we need another bench warmer? not really imo.
Nope no one springs to mind but lets wait til the Euros are over as someone might make a name for themselves who we HAVE to HAVE!!!!.
I think we should sign robin van persie because he is mint and city would be on a roll if we did but there is still chance so get signing
