Roy Hodgson - 'Lack of Respect'

Roy's got no courage which is quite sad and maybe the reason he was employed. The FA wanted a yes man.

John Terry, for footballing reasons shouldn't be in the team. He is finished a liability and almost cost his team the champs league. Let's not even get into the racist abuse claims.

How Micah Richards can't make the team and Kelly who can't even get a game for Liverpool is even more disgraceful.

Pathetic

Rio and Richards should be on the plane.

Roy seems like a man who wants to avoid confrontation whenever there is any.

It's in his style of play, a cautious approach, and once taken the lead, keep it safe, everyone sit back.

It's also becoming evident in his personality.

Karma will show again in one of the matches and bite Terry and Hodgson in the a@@

Liverpool fans had to suffer by a deluge of posts from outraged manu fans about our treatment of 'Gentleman Roy'.

Now look at you!

Stupid comment.
If Richards had have been on the standby list, he would be heading off to the euro's with the rest of the squad on Wednesday, but he decided to go on holiday instead.

Did ferguson himself not say that rio would not be fit enough to get through the finals? Lets blame JT just to be on the safe side

But he's not is he, he helped in getting us to second in the league, missing out on goal difference, JT on the other hand had a good shot at blowing up your CL campaign in your faces.

He's been of our best players this season. I don't see how he is finished.

i have no problem with Hodgson's tactics, let's not forget that England are not world beaters. What i do have a problem with is the squad that Hodgson has selected.

Downing is the weirdest one, awful season, and yet he is there in poland. Picking Terry over Rio is almost as weird; Terry has had a poor season on and off the pitch. Rio isn't the player he was a couple of years ago and even with his injuries this season, he has still played better than Terry. Also perplexing are the players that have been overlooked, Richards, Adam Johnson and Carrick Notable, as well as Rio Ferdinand.

JT = Champions League and FA Cup Winner

Rio = 2nd Place trophy winner

Your comment is stupid my friend. Richards shouldn't be on any back up list. He's better than Johnson and Jones. Johnson and Jones are back up players to him

So Cech, Ivanovic, Cole and Cahill/Luiz are also past it?

Great logic.

They also won 2 cup competitions! His inclusion makes it more likely that he will finish with 3 cup competition victories.

Bats has a point.

The Euros is a cup competition.

Terry is a winner.

Rio is a loser.

Nope, but Terry is an integral part of your defence that has been shambolic in the prem for the most part.

You actually play better without him in the team

-----------------

What does that have to do with performances? JT wasn't even involved in your CL win so that makes your point redundant.

His inclusion in the side isn't helping the national team because it's keeping one of the best defenders out of the team.

Asking you to put aside club loyalties and appreciate this is clearly a waste of time

You miss the point.
You talk as though Kelly was selected over Richards, and call it disgraceful.
It got nothing to do with Kelly, Richards didn't want to be included in a back up list, so wasn't available for selection.
The argument about whether or not he should have been in the original 23, is a completely separate one.

Like the Napoli game? Manchester Utd game?

Both games where we conceded 3 goals without JT.

The fact that England defend deep should have made picking Rio a total no brainer.

As we speak Ferdinand is still the best defender in the country when playing in a deep back-line.

If England had played an attacking pressing style that's different (Rio would drop too deep for that style) but i'm sure they'll be largely a counter attacking side with a solid defensive shape.

Rio has every right to be angry.

Something no-one noticed was how well Rio played in the 1-0 loss at City, totally clamped City's forwards with his awareness, positioning and concentration, world-class but can't get into the England squad.
