If we could get Steve Clarke in would be a great move
Poor Thommo
He's had skinfuls before and turned up legless to training and not a word said.
He has one wee half shandy to celebrate the jubilee and......
Poor Thommo
St3vie - You could be bang on with that one.
Lennon saw him bevvying today and said "enough is enough, you're oot!"
its nothing to do with his bevvying
he wants to get us playing a new style n set up different training next season
Lennon likes a bevvy more than anyone it would take a brass can to sack him for bevvying
Wouldve thought Thommo brought more to the gameplan than the painter n decorator! Who'll do post match rants when Lennys back in his cage next season?
Kev - not sure why thommo couldnt be a part of that to be honest.
Im gutted for him tho, its the best team we have had since oneil, walford n robertson
theres great coaches out there tho Keny
Steve Clarke
Willie McStay
Billy Stark who I think would be a great shout
Regardless of the bevvying or other non-footballing stuff. We can get much better coaches in.
Could say the same for our manager
Just saying, there was close relationships there why break them.
That said, im sure theres more to this than coaching ability
Says who, pie?
Do you know why he was sacked, or are you just spinning the yarn?
Well, If he has a drink driving conviction the he does have a drink problem.
Are there better coaches? Well, I'm probably a better coach than him.
He was in the job cause he's Lennons best pal, lets not kid ourselves now.
As I said, it's not a great loss and I'm hoping we actually improve as a result of this.
Willie Mcstay is the man for this job, i reckon he will get it in the next couple of days.
Wow. Coach in nepotism shocker.
How do you know he is a bad coach, pie? Who told you?
Sounds like a lot of follow follow banter to me.
I love how people come on here and preach reasons as though they are fact!!!!!
"Lennon seen him drinkin today..."
"He wants us to play new tactics and setup training differently..."
None of you know,
Wobgnorts
the training reason was the reason he informed over the phone
Source, Ghod?
I've only found this out ten minutes ago.
tim
thommo's a jakeball
accept it and move on
Few websites are saying it was definately because of the drinking. I can't say anything about what he was like as a coach really but Steve Clarke is a name that's been thrown in the ring, he's an excellent coach, so I'm guessing we're looking for improvements in the coaching department.
wobgnorts - We were joking at the start of this convo. Lighten up.
