I'd be gutted if we lose either Baines or Fellaini, but we've always bounced back when we've sold one of our better players. I'd take no less than 20 million for Baines, and Fellaini's worth at least 25 million. We paid 15 mill, and he's improved dramatically since then.

We paid that based on potential in my opinion, but yeah £25million would be very hard to turn down. Would allow Moyes to bring in 2-3 players and looking at his record we won't do too badly on that.

I know this is an unpopular opinion but when receiving a big fee I always like to see part of it bringing the debt down. Give Moyes 15-20 million depending on the fee and spend the rest convincing the banks we can be trusted in case we need emergancy funds in January.

I hope United are showing interest for him then, 20m would be a steal and we badly need him in our midfield.

I agree,it is an unpopular opinion. If we were to lose either player,I want the lot invested. I'd rather sell Rodwell.

fellaini is the central figure to the current everton side, moyes as aluded the fact he wants to build to team round him, he is world class, £20 million i very much doubt we would accept, i dunno why jags is even talking about that in the papers, maybe he is trying to engineer his own move?

that i would be glad of.

fella is worth a minimum of £30 million and even then if it were me i would say no, he is world class.

his touch, control is up there with the best, he is powerful, has some pace, wins every tackle he goes in for, every header, he even fools opposition players into thinking he will header a high ball but his control on the chest is the best in the world, there is a reason moyes spent £15 million on such a young player and its not to sell him for £4 million more 4 years later after giving him a £75,000 a week contract.

Jags shut stay quiet and think about how hes not going to hoof the ball so much next season and try and displace heitinga and distin at the back.

I didn't say I'd be glad to see him go or anything, just that an offer over 20 million would be hard to turn down and would allow Moyes to cover a couple of different positions. I agree I'd rather see Rodwell leave but we won't get much for him at the minute so no point getting rid.

I recall one of your previous posts with a mixture of mirth and,it has to be said, slight embarrasment.
It went............."i am going to see if i can get myself a night out tonight, only fair ,the boss had her night out with the girls last night"
