squash matches aren't impressive when you have 3 wrestlers currently doing them, really unimaginative from the writers

Good article.

I'm not really what to think of Ryback just yet, as has as been said all he is doing is squashing jobbers, which is entertaining for about the first three or four but it is getting boring now and hardly reinforces his credibility.

I could see him going one on one with Brodus Clay as they both have a streak going on. Could make for an interesting feud.

these "local wrestlers" idea is just dull, I know they are trying to make him look more muscley but they could at least get some Jobbers with a bit of muscle who look something like wrestlers I'm bigger than them most weeks

Ryback? Well he's just pointless isn't he.

Ryback would have to face off against someone already established as a heel I think, otherwise they run the risk of Ryback generating little support due to his limited moveset. At least, I assume he has a limited move-set.

The local wrestlers is getting a bit dull (and is one of the oldest tricks in the book for generating cheap heat for squash matches) but I do find it amusing how Cole now laughs at the opponents before they have even started talking.

Ryback though; don't like him as a face.

That little poetic duet between Rosenborg and Stansky was embarrassing to watch so it was nice to see Ryback flatten them.

Still though, boring as hell

And lol at the Gooldberg chant.

Great wrestler, great potential, terrible gimmick

Typical really.

The crowd in Chicago at Extreme Rules also booed him heavily. I personally don't think he is anything special. Just another muscle freak who's average in the ring but will get pushed ahead of talented wrestlers because of his look.

yea pretty much my thoughts too.

I did love the awkwardness behind that poem though that Diamond Dust - Tetra Disaster (U2391) referred to - brilliant.

He's getting a push!

Nah he's just being given squash matches and getting boo'd/ mocked

Needs better opponents... I cant take him serious with all these wrestlers... are they even wrestlers??

I can see what they're trying to get at, they want to make him look like a new Goldberg, but Goldberg was being made to look dominant against well-known wrestlers, Ryback is just squashing jobbers from local or development territories.

The thing is, the audience would expect Kofi Kingston to dominate a no-name jobber, so it's not going to make Ryback look all that great.

Ryback is waste of time, it's amazing how wwe keeps giving him this squash opponents every damn week!

A horrible gimmick

And his little phrases are already starting to annoy.

"FEED ME"

I wonder what he means to eat ? Hopefully a P45

Whoever told him slapping his head would be a good idea

more like Rycrap

They will be starting his entrance from the moment he leaves his locker room next.....

They should have goldberg come out from under the ring whilst Ryback is stomping around doing his feed me more thing and have him spear Ryback when he turns around.
