I'd be happy with either, would give us a different option either way. If we failed to land either of these, I'd take Yakubu.
Folk on here have said that Holt is too similar to Bent. For that reason alone, we may need someone who provides different options, especially if he's coming off the bench when Bent is off form. I can't see Norwich wishing to sell Holt either, where are they going to get someone else who can knock in 15 goals a season for the £5m we give them? They're not loaded.
if Holt is similar to bent then i hope the club snap him up asap as bent cost 24mill.
Bent is a great player for us and i'm sure he will be back in the goals under lambo.
I'd be reluctant to put Bent and Holt in the same bracket, I'd love to see the two start together with Holt perhaps sat a little deeper than Bent. If we sort out our CM with a bit of bite and creativity and either a) Get Marky and N'zogbia up to pace or b) Replace them with some guaranteed service, I don't see why we couldn't broach the top half of the table.

that make a lot of sense and something id consider.
as for the OP i would like Lambo to go for "houilett" wouldn't cost a lot which could be settled in a tribunal.
i believe he can play similar to young and would be a bargin at a couple of mill.
I was reluctant to mention Houilett as from what I've seen, he could and should be going to a bigger club, he looks like a real talent and wouldn't be surprised if United pinched him as something for the future.
Yeah ive herd the the big clubs are sniffing around him, but if lambo could give him first team football and a decent wage you never know we could just grab him.
Hoilett and Rhodes
Been saying that Rhodes the perfect buy at the seemed price, when Powell from Crewe 2m cheaper but very much unproven.

Andy Gray
powell is well worth snapping up, would welcome him to villa park but Alex Ferguson is a keen admirer and looks likes he wants him at Old Trafford.
shame that!
