Afternoon

Well totally slept in this morning and have only just finished watching the Japanese GP. Other than Vettel, I would never of guessed the other two on the podium .

Di nice to see Massa and Kobayashi on the podium. First Japanese podium for ages. Did Sato ever score a podium or are we going back to Aguri Suzuki?

Welshy

Takuma Sato was the last Japanese driver to appear on the podium, that was at the 2004 United States GP . Aguri Suzuki's podium was way back in 1990 and Kobayashi becomes the first Japanese driver to appear on a home race podium since then .

Hope that podium will see Kobayashi remain in F1 next year.

Plus today was almost 2 years since Felipe Massa has stepped on an F1 podium. Felipe and Rob .

Thanks for the info Di

Yea delighted for Massa and Rob Smedley, the most likeable combo in F1 + we must remember that before Massa's accident + then Alonso's arrival at Ferrari he was challenging for titles. Hope this is a genuine change in form and luck for him.

Ye I think Kobayashi will keep his drive as Sauber. He's always entertaining to watch.

Yeah I've always liked Massa so glad he got back on the podium . I think the talent has always been they but he just needs the confidence .

Plus Alonso not finishing .

Want to sign a player for my team , but I suppose I can hang on for another 24 hours or so.

Aw bless you Di, yea you'll get that signing tomorrow I have no signings planned I don't think.

Ya Alonso has got a challenge on his hands now. Vettel is looking strong especially. But Hammy or Kimi could yet spring a surprise if their cars have upgrades.

Yep not over until the fat lady sings so to stay. To be honest as a Mclaren fan I kinda hope Lewis does pull off the unlikely task but it'd take another Alonso non finish and another engine problem by Vettel .

Looking forward to next weeks race already. Lots of rumours flying around at surprise driver announcements coming after the Korean GP.

Well I gather that Kimi will get an upgrade for his Lotus in Korea, so you never know

Oh yea? That sounds exciting I wonder if di Resta or Hulkenburg are involved?

Welshy - Ola John seems to be out of favour and a benchwarmer at the minute - he's not injured

Last weekend there was a rumor going round that Hulkenberg has signed for Sauber next season with Massa staying at Ferrari.

But Vettel will definitely at Ferrari in 2014, that announcement will come over the winter.

Which means Red Bull need to sign someone up and quickly for the 2014 season, I've got a sneaky feeling the Jenson Button will be on they hit list.

But they's all sorts of rumors doing the rounds at the moment and but that Vettel one is 100% true.

Ta Lc I think JB should stay at McLaren till the end of his Career. Could be a real opportunity for him to take a second title next year I think. But wow next year could be good, Raikkonen up to speed, Hamilton + Ross Brawn a potential super team.

Kimi could be the other option for Vettel's seat in 2014, he has been sponsored by Red Bull for sometime now, would be a perfect combo.

Di Resta will stay with Force India next year and will move to a top team in 2014 . Rosberg's seat is said to be under threat. But Force India need a big bucks pay driver in the second seat. The teams said to be in finical trouble if they don't. .

So many rumors not enough information!

I think so Welshy - their statistics this season together are mind-boggling ..........I think Elia will be shipped out

I like Elia, but Mertens. He's getting heavily linked with Liverpool atm.

Mertens is a good player but he's a bit quiet this season by his own standards

Yep. PSV were having a slow start at the beginning of the season - new manager etc. They are starting to get the results now and a bit of momentum .

Dutch league as open as it's ever been mate? Always used to be Ajax, PSV + Feyenoord, but nowadays there seem to be half a dozen teams in with a chance of of putting on a title challenge.

You have a favourite side, Lc?
