International Predictions

Tough one this week and I will admit I havent seen any teams other than England but here we go.

Canada v Italy -
Canada look a decent side but Italy are better, especially under Parisse. Italy by 15.

Fiji v Scotland -
I think despite the weather and a weakened side that victory v Australia was huge and I expect they will kick on from here. Scotland by 10.

NZ v Ireland -
Best team in the world by a country mile and out of Irelands league. NZ by 38. (Glad England are not there).

Australia v Wales -
I think Wales can do it this week for some reason, but it will be tough. Wales by 5. Warburton to 8 would be a mistake I feel though.

SA v England -
I fear for us here, SA rarely lose at altitude and in a fair battle last week we came up short. Hurts to say but SA by 18. I hope I am wrong.

Argentina v France -
It would be much easier if I knew which France will turn up in this one. Ability wise I think France by 12. (Dont you let me down froggies!)

Forgot to add I am pleased that Flood is back at 10, I feel it should have been his jersey in the WC and England would have been much better for it. Just a shame we are more than likely going to get a bigger beating than last week and he may get the chop straight away.

Fuming at Ben Foden for that last minute try. Cost me a point, and joint top spot that did.

Anyway, for this week, I'll go with the following.

Canada v Italy - Italy by 18

Fiji v Scotland - Scotland by 7

NZ v Ireland - NZ by 30

Australia v Wales - Australia by 8

SA v England - SA by 11.

Argentina v France - France by 8.

Alright there lads....time for the front rower to show you how to predict a set of results!!

Canada v Italy -
Only really watch Canada at 7s, where they're decent...Italy let me down last week but I think they'll do fine this week.
Italy by 20

Fiji v Scotland -
Haven't seen what Fiji's team looks like for this one but if they go full strength they'll be a scary prospect...will Scotland kick on from the Australia result or lose one they should win?
Scotland by 5

NZ v Ireland -
NZ were ridiculously good against Ireland...if the Irish forwards bother to turn up this week then it will be much closer but Im not sure they will
NZ by 40

Australia v Wales -
I really don't know in all honesty...again I think Wales should win but I think it'll be the Aussies again
Aus by 7

SA v England -
Literally because I can't bet against the boys 2 weeks running I'm backing England but expecting SA to win
Eng by 53
I mean 5
ok 3.

Argentina v France -
Not seen the teams for this one but i fancy France to have too much for the Argies no matter who they pick
France by 12

If anyone is watching the NZ v Ireland game....this is exactly why I was so critical of Ireland last week, particularly their forwards becuase we all knew they should be performing to this level instead!!!

Now can they finish the job?

He was against forwards but he still did great JPB!

why did he kick it away ?

posted on 16/6/12

no need for wales to have kicked possession away with less than 2 minutes left. stupid.

Argh Wales had it...they got a bit of luck with Barnes' injury affecting his penalty miss then blew it with some poor decisions at the end!

They have to find a better 10 than Priestland, he's not even close to international quality imo.

We did it last week but Tom Johnson saw it so flipped it back in with his hand and gave a pen away....

I love the way the south african public support their team. The noise hear is deafening. I'd love playing in a stadium this intimidating. Compared the the half full stadium in the aus/wales game this is very impressive.
