My guess would be that the facebook group is Spurs only?
With ja the potential/fact of wumming means posters
are more likely to back official club moves at all times so as to show a united front to other teams fans. Whatever they really think.
Says something about the age and reactionary immature nature of a lot of JA606 posters.
Morning messiah
Listening to the radio today it seems that a few people with money at the club who are in Levys ear were not happy with the way harry behaves and has acted over the last 4 months
Also Levy is said to be angry that Harry threw this out to the media on the day he had a death in the family
Not happy or sad mate but i just think Harry brought it on himself and deserved to go
It's another typical Spurs for me, we finally look to be getting somewhere and the manager manages to talk himself out the door
I'm gutted today
Agree with weare.
In a day and age where any sort of comment can be reported, any old comment can be re-hashed he continuously said the wrong things. I'm not against him wanting the England job, but to carry on talking about it the way he did instead of refusing to mention it is the equivalent of someone having a girlfriend but talking non-stop about another woman. The public "I would like a new contract" on the day levy's mother passed away just accelerated the process. I'm happy he's gone, but not too happy about the mentioned replacements
Yes, u have mentioned it a LOT messiah
I don't know what to think though
Messiah
For me the most important thing now is the new stadium and getting a good manager in
I mentioned it once I think
It's just you follow me and hang on my every word so closely Edin
Seriously though I suppose we can't really decide what to think until we see what follows mate.
Stole this redknapp quote in march from another article:
"They don't care whether I'm the manager next year, they wouldn't lose any sleep over that or whoever comes. That's football: footballers are footballers, they play the game, they come in every day and train, somebody else comes in the door tomorrow and it's 'the king is dead, long live the king'."
Couldn't make his mind up, couldn't keep his mouth shut either
I wouldn't say that I am happy to see Redknapp go but at the same time i'm not desperately upset over him leaving if I am honest. One of the main positives to come out of it is the end of the uncertainty at the club which over the past year has cost us big time.
I'm gutted and really think levy has facked right up! Tbh I blame him more than Harry for what happened last season!
Needed a good striker winger and cb
We ended up with saha n neilson
People will moan lack of rotation etc but if we brought decent players in jan then we wouldn't be here now
Hengy
Its clear that Levy has had doubts for a while over harry and thats why he didnt release the funds
Well he better release them for the new manager
People talking about AVB
I dont want him anywhere near the Club .. the personality of a wet fish
I'm happy because while I'm not denying what he achieved, the slumps from mid-feb onwards in the past 2 seasons were awful.
I'll never be able to live down the humiliation of that pathetic collapse against arsenal where he got it wrong tactically (yet again) and choking and missing out on the champions league after being in such a commanding position
I'm happy. Never been a HR fan (look at my previous posts over the years so I'm not a flip-flopper like many) but he did well for us for a while and I can appreciate that.
Fact is, Harry has never been a real Tottenham man. He is and always has been a bit of a loose cannon with a big ego. Harry's first priority is always Harry. So the team never really comes first.
Don't know what he'll do next, don't care either. Just hope we get someone in who loves the club first and foremost.

Could not put it better myself
I don't know whether it was doubts over Harry, I think it was more the expectation that he was leaving for England. I understand why the Saha and Nelsen deals happened as we seemingly were expecting with the cushion we had to make Champions League and if Harry left the new manager has funds there. How stupid would we have looked if we spent 20m odd on a striker in January for a new manager to come in and not like them and try to get rid. Unfortunately we've ended up making ourselves look more stupid by blowing CL.
Well said alvar, always felt that way too.
Right , got to get some work done.. could not sleep last night with all this in my head so shattered today
What group is that messiah? Link please
Take nothing away from harry, that was some three years we had!
Well I truly believe by the end of next season we all wish Harry stayed!

One thing I am glad about is that a decision has been made. The club could quite easily have waited for another year where Harry isn't backed as we don't know what his future would be.
Pav as you say at least it gives us some time to sort things before new season starts.
