They are NOT your hammers or my hammers they are anyone's hammers
You try and get to a few games a a season
That's fanatical for you
Well done
The bottom line is, if it wasn't important to have your club made known, people would choose not to include it in their profile.
From what I've seen, the majority do. To then have their club name (or badge) in their username - so as to facilitate identification - is just a logical extension of that.
I just did it because I thought I had to fill it in. Not because I deemed it appropriate. At the end of the day I wouldnt care a gnats hair if the team everyone supported was 'none'.
The majority don't actually!
How can you justify that comment?
I only chose Edinspur because it rhymed with Edinburgh and thought that sounded cool cos its where I am from.

If you take a look at members online you will see that you cannot evidence that statement
The majority give no indication of who they support in their user name

As far as most people are concerned I might support a team called trev based on what you say!
Nearly 80 per cent of posters do not indicate the team they support so you argument holds no water at all

Dunno bout that, I think most do. I assumed you were West Ham by your username.

Maybe it is because I know who most of them support. But a fair number indicate who they support (some less obviously, like Sandy Brown).
Well sandy brown is obvious'!!! Bit like U2387
Sandy Brown scored in Spurs FA Cup triumph of 1901, making them the only non league club to win it.
Another poster, Albert Morgan, is named after a Man Utd masseur or kitman or something. He supports United.
Oh wow that is so obvious you must have a City and Guilds in football facts
But still indications of who they support.
D'Jeezus: I take it you weren't being sarcastic about the emblem? Good idea, that!
Sarcastic....on here...you must be joking
People don't do that ...do they?
myhammers, no I wasn't.
Trevs, why no? It is an indication of who they support. Not obvious, granted, but still an indication.
I still say a large percentage have obvious indications.
