412m spent and only 2 carling cups to show for it
Pretty pathetic if you ask me.
In no terms are Spurs a big club.
Their success doesn't suggest a big club.
Their ground doesn't suggest a big club.
Their global popularity doesn't suggest a big club.
Their signings don't suggest a big club.
Their wages paid to players doesn't suggest a big club.
Nothing really suggests they are a big club.
In my unbiased opinion, Everton ate by far a bigger club than FC Potato. Not even close. Unfortunately, one season in the CL and a couple of rare quality performances from their pet monkey have given the Spuuds the llusion of being bigger than they actually are. They are the new Liverpool without the history to back it up.

to be fair i agree. everton have won more trophies, have a larger fan base than tottenham. i seem to remember seeing on here some spurs fans saying liverpool were "past it" i don't think finishing higher than a club for one season when you have finished below them for many years makes you a bigger club.
Tottenham wont be making any progress anytime soon when half their squad are vying for moves to bigger clubs
Only a matter of time before Bale/Modric/VDV move on. Levy can keep rejecting bids but player power always prevails nowadays and they will leave within 2 years
Are Spurs a small club?
Sounds like an article the RS would post
