Bresnan for me - Broads bowling has become totally ineffective we cant carry a bowler in a 4 man attack
Bres for me as well - the sooner Broady realises that he cannot bounce or intimidate class batsmen, the better.
He might think he's England's enforcer, but India have too much class for that approach.
Both have started well with a wicket each this morning.
I keep changing my mind...I was Broad at first, but Bres bowled well in the ODIs so he's got it at the minute. Although, that could change again if Broad picks up a few.
I would go for Finn above Bresnan.
22 and averages 26?
Wonderful talent!
I think Bres has knocked over the tail to finish with 4-64 from 14 overs. Relatively expensive compared to the economy of the other bowlers and a score of 168.
It seems Broad on the other hand has been suffering at the hands of Kieswetter and Hildreth and is wicketless following the one he took this morning.
Taunton.
Not the best ground for Broad to be bowling at
Taunton,
If you're a bowler, that's what you plan your injuries around.
Funny you should say that...I think he had to leave the field with an injury scare a while ago, but apparently returned following some strapping to the ankle. Not sure if he's bowled since.
4.45 p.m.
Yorkshire 15 - 2
Only another 3 to avoid the follow-on
Oh, sorry meant to say...I think (could be wrong) the game's being played at Trent Bridge.
neither of them would trouble the indian batsman. Onions all day long for me.
If better sense prevails then Bresnan would be picked. But the selectors may go with Broad a) for his batting as they would hope that Broad could do a Flintoff. b) famous father.
