Tika Taka.....will you please bore off.

The Germans will beat this spanish side. I have no doubts.

Portugal's style demonstrated last night is the best style of football on the planet.

There is nothing better in football when you see your team score goals like the end to end goal they scored, especially against quality opposition.

Spain on the other hand, it's just painful to watch

I enjoy Spain's football. I do like technical football though.

Yeah I agree the way they play is really boring for me. They play at a really slow tempo for the majority of the game playing short passes across the middle of the park. Technically they are brilliant and when they turn it on, they score some fabulous goals and play some class football. the rest of the time is just so meh. I have much prefered watching Germany and Portugal so far as they play more exciting football for more of the game imo.

And Jesus played a starring role in the dramatic conclusion tonight too.

I said they were boring during the world cup and got slated by the tiki takka bum boys facebook, portugal were brilliant last night but haven't been great in the previous two games, hopefully they stick to the quick counter attacking style

Portugal's style is great on the eye and very effective yesterday, but they were given a huge helping hand as the dutch players' attitudes were abysmal, no work ethic whatsoever.

Against a more compact team, Portugal will struggle to break teams down so easily like yesterday as they have no playmaker. Only incredible wingers.

Can't agree Bubbly

Spanish football is at times so technical and precise that it seems like there's no effort to it, making it look or seem boring. Their game against the Italians - from both teams - was football pure ball control, the right pass at the right pace and lovely to watch!

It's just a difference in culture

In Spain, they love watching football like this. Possession football is like p.0rn to them just like lightning quick end to end football is what we worship over here

If you ask a Spaniard if they enjoy watching Chelsea play, or Liverpool play, or even United last season play, they'd probably laugh

WHY IS IT THAT WHEN THE DUTCH PLAYED AND LOST TO GERMANY AND DENMARK NOBODY BLAMED THE DEFENCE, TACTICS,AND THEIR ATTITUDES BUT WHEN PORTUGAL BEAT THEM THEY WERE GIFTED THE GAME CAUSE THE DUTCH JUST GAVE UP.

I have said they are boring for ages and not actually all that good. Look at the world cup, a series of boring games and one nil wins (sound familiar). Anti football and not at all great to watch. The way the media go on about Spain makes me sick. Yes they have great players but the tactics are a bore fest. Englands game, despite the lack of skill on show was a much more entertaining affair.
I live in Spain and will be suffering the banter at work tomorrow. I live in fear that they will give England a tonking in the quarters.

I wouldnt agree Smalling, my colleagues were raving about the England Sweden game.

I have found myself asking the same question. Initially and if you doubt it go back to the thread after the holland second match most people were permutating, if holland score two or this or that. I wondered why, they are very very poor, get over it. Maybe cause van p is an arsenal player. Mostly the arsenal posters seemed to be so desperate
