Blimey I wrote this article before Shrek missed that sitter. He genuinely is useless and is showing why we win more games when he's injured or volunteering for Help The Aged..
At least Rooney has been involved and linked up but Welbeck has been shocking.

Rooney is a great player but his touch tonight is shocking. Both he and Welbeck are too isolated however, which is to be expected with the two banks of four Roy has defending. It isn't needed at all.
It's quite ironic that young has been really poor, losing the ball frequently and misplacing passes, and basically did nothing except for one brilliant cross which led to rooney missing the sitter...
If its Carroll getting that chance it's in!
Hope rooney scores a hatrick but he is not sharpo enough, suprised sinsce hes played 37mins of football in a month!!!!!
Milner and Young for me have been poor again, id swop Carroll for Rooney and Theo for Milner.
