I did read your OP. You offered only one solution. A 6+5.
In my first reply I told you that it is at an early age where things need to change, and this year massive steps have been made to change things to encourage more technical skills to be taught to kids.
Nope but that same Manager chose to play others instead for the 94 world cup qualifiers. When clearly better players were available. Mark Hately was playing for a Team who at that time were as good as most of our teams, he was being overlooked. I'm saying the man who picked the examples you gave was not fit to manage England!
Sorry I missed out the question mark on the bit about the 6-5 I'm on an iPhone and very seldom proof read these. But my grass roots blame is clearly there!
Well, possibly true according to the OP, whereas 6+5 seemed to be THE answer.
Possibly cos I can't say for sure. But my 6-5 misses a question mark, hence my previous comment. I can't be bothered loading up my laptop just to see my screen better... But just for you I'll go add it for you.
You choose to ignore the very definite part where I mention, "I've lost count of the amount of times I've heard parents shout get rid of it for eff's sake"
That's me acknowledging there's something wrong at youth level. Especially at under 8s level.
But I don't know if either of my suggestions are right. But you choosing to just jump on the one is gonna make me dig the heels, cos your argument has been backed up with as much fact as mine. Neither is totally provable, the difference is I appear to be more open minded.....
You seem to be less open minded to me. Lets blame foreigners for our problems...

Lol
Oh you're consistant if nothing else. You may as well say "I'm right, you're wrong, no ifs or buts".
If I were really having that attitude, would I not be calling for something a bit more radical? Something closer to UEFA's old rule?
Your suggestion that clubs like arsenal would go for players like Heskey etc to make up their numbers..... Really? When the ruling would mean that 6 English players would be starting every match?
I don't believe it would pay instant dividends. But it could ultimately be helpful. Just as fixing grass roots etc etc
But I also suggested the FA took take away some of the pressure.... Yet still you have chosen to jump on just one suggestion. Lol closed mind
