Didn't Martinez play 3-4-3?

Chelsea fan here

imo Klinsmann would be your best bet. Club legend who knows the club very well-look at what RDM's done for us. sure he didn't do great at Bayern but that's the equivalent of the United or Chelsea job there, there would be not nearly as much pressure on his shoulders

Blanc would be a very good appointment for you. young, flexible, ambitious, great record at Bordeaux

Capello would be a poor appointment-wou;ldn't really be a kove forward. still can't really speak English and Italian managers are very locked in their ways. God knows Ancleotti drove me mad with his unwillingness to change and adapt

How old is Blanc?

46 according to wiki. he could hardly do much worse than the last frenchman you appointed tbh!

Blanc is 46 I think. I dont think he would give up the French national team though. Would he? Cannot understand the Sherwood affair either. He's done nothing of note has he?

blanc's contract as France boss expires after the tournament (i think). pretty sure he will leave

he's an ambitious young manager and won't really see the national team job as anything more than a stepping stone for bigger and better things

Blanc or AVB for me

Sherwood ...... .. At 41 if he hasn't made it in the managerial game when will he make it? seems happy to hide in the youth team and not try for a club, no no no!

Did you have the same views about Brendan Rodgers and Steve Clarke?

And since when was 41 to old to start a career in football management?

I've just read up on him and his cv is top drawer and it does seem he was only given a 2 year contract so is a free agent. Tough shout for Levy but I hope he makes it very soon. COYS
