how about we spend money on both?
instead of spending between 17-20m pounds on M'Vila, we invest that whole amount (and maybe a bit more) to get a quality attacking midfielder/playmaker.

You need to suggest some names and theirs prices tag!
There are not many of them available and you'll soon find out that a decent midfield/playmaker is far more expensive too.
I'd rather have M'Vila, at first i thought he wasn't needed but the thought of playing him as the anchor and Song in a more advanced role is mouth watering.
we really need a playmaker and last season showed that. We barely created anything, RVP was using his magic to get us goals out of nowhere. He's on every teams radar next season so i dont expect much of the same. So we'd have to deal with ramsey, according to most of you on here, he's the new fabregas

IAWT...was one game thats all. And when I think of a team showing the epitome of teamwork, somehow Holland doesn't come to mind. Besides, you don't really need too many link up players, when Sneijder is going for long passes

You are probably right but still prefer him as main striker and I'd rather have a proper playmaker. We need to win at least one trophy next season and not the CC so I am not sure if I want to gamble on a new formation.
