I think Giroud will begin the season as a sub.

Where's Wilshere though? He should be fit for pre-season.

I don't think Arsene would want to put too much pressure on Wilshere considering his injury record last season

Going by the Euros, it appears that is his best position anyway

cheeky wum by a fan of a team scraping for a manager that was sacked by a team that finished lower than them and signing some mid-table rubbish. signing mid-table worked so well for liverpool

I think RVP will leave...But we should replace him with someone decent.

For the start of the season:

-----------------------Szczesny-------------------
Jenkinson-Koscielny-Vermaelen-Gibbs

-----------M'Vila----Arteta--Song-------------

--Walcott---------Giroud-----------Podolski

I don't think he did too well when started as a sub to be honest.

I also don't think wilshere will start all the games at beginning of season. Wenger has said he played him to much in break through season. So I think he'll ease him in even if he's fit for pre season. A good decision in my eyes. Don't want him being forever injury prone for the sake of 6-7 games.

M'Vila Arteta Song

Yup. Or Song and Arteta ahead of M'Vila. Song loves to bomb forward, Arteta and M'Vila are great passers.

M'Vila is average.

Fernando would be better suited.

--- Fernando
Arteta -- Wilshere

That can only be bettered in the modern game by

-- Busquets
Xavi -- Iniesta

Or
Yaya
Nasri silva

Firstly, who on earth is Fernando?

Secondly, please don't delude yourself that we are 1 signing away from having the second best midfield in Europe. Real, Bayern, United and City will all have much better mids next season.

Why do you mention Fernando on every thread. i like him on fifa but otherwise he is poo

I really hope we don't start the season with Jenkinson at right back, Yennaris looks better than him even though its not his natural position but I really think we need to invest in someone who will be good enough to replace Sagna within a year or two.

We need a good full back, a defensive mid, an attacking mid and we'll be good to go I think.

Has everyone forgot about poor old Jack! He's on the pepsi ad and bottle which means he's already worls class.

we'll only get a defender if Djourou goes. Think we'll get 1 more midfielder and a back up keeper if Fab goes.

If we start RVP, Podolski, and Giroud, what do we do when we want to bring on a fresh striker to chase a game or in case of injury? At least one of them needs to be on the bench to be a game changer.
