Granted the SPL isn't the best league in the world
coming from a supporter of a Championship team

4 of those players made it to a european final only 4 years ago
Ross mccormack scored a barrowload of goals in the championship but failed to do so in the spl , the championship is a very average league
the arrogance of some people outwith the spl never fails to amaze me.
Mcgregor , davis and naismith are epl quality , no chance they will end up at your club
They are worth looking at but we've also got to be realistic. Most, if not all of these players will be targeting premiership clubs, or otherwise higher end championship clubs so there will be some fierce competition.
Sone Aluko is quality, but we dont need any more strikers, so I'd be most inclined to go for Naismith.

You both seem to be confusing an external and, granted, subjective opinion with a comparitive statement.
To be fair, put yourself in the position of the Rangers fans - Their club has been mismanaged and has overspent to the point where they don't know what league their new club will be playing in next year, then an English second tier club starts picking over the bones of their once mighty giant - Of course they're going to react; particularly so since we have a history of a similar thing happening to us and our situation didn't end as badly.
The Rangers fans have my sympathy.

Paul Konchesky and John Pantsil were in the Fulham team that made it to european final only 2 years ago!
Wonder where they spent last season?
Rangers - Dozens of trophies.
Leicester - Never won a proper trophy.
Rangers - massive support.
Leicester - can't even sell out their derby games against Cov.
Rangers - worldwide following.
Leicester - bitter fans; the ginger step-kids of East Mids football.
Rangers - historic ground, amazing atmosphere.
Leicester - formulaic, flatpack stadium.
Rangers - huge club.
Leicester - who?
Aside from the Leicester vs Rangers/SPL vs Championship garbage;
Sone Aluko was a player Sven looked at last season. So safe to say NP wouldn't try to sign him Nobody on that list, apart from possibly Whittaker who I like, really stands out as being a potential signing, either because they'd never come to a Championship club (McGregor, Davis) or because they wouldn't be an improvement on what we have (Lafferty)
Would put in a cheeky bid for the left sided player Lee Wallace though, if he isn't a free agent by the time the Rangers issue gets sorted.
I agree that one or two of these players maybe worth looking at.
In reponse to the pathetic Forest fan, who thinks they have bigger support than the Rams,
Forest bought 1400 fans to the replay at the King Power Stadium, after we took 8000 Leicester fans to the City ground

..........................................................
only 1 of 2 players to say he will stay with us!
but if we go to 3rd division , we wont be able to honour his contract and he can leave with head held high , unlike some!
Rangers a big club with worldwide support??? dont make me laugh, and dozens of(REAL) trophys lol name one?? I cant remember them winning,,, oh i dont know... say the european cup. or anything worth talking about.
PS. i have travelled the world and can tell you rangers are detested by more than adored (by the very few who even know who they are) Now CELTIC, thats a very different story!
And even the tin pot trophys they did win they cheated to get. this club has nothing to offer anyone other than hatred and biggotry. sooner they are done away with the better.
Forest have sold 3000 season tickets - only big club in Nottingham are notts county!
Joke support for a joke club!
Belfast Fox - your comment sounds very much like a catholic view to me and one that probably shouldn't be expressed on here. I personally don't like Celtic but that's because I have ties to Rangers but that's another irrelevant story. I have never met anyone that detests Rangers other than Celtic or Hibernian fans for obvious sectarian reasons. They may well be disliked by other clubs in Scotland but for the same reason as people in England dislike Man Utd etc, for no other reason than they're the historically one of the two best in Scotland. Nobody else cares.
I have also travelled the world, i've been to more than 60 countries, lived in China, Japan and New Zealand and I now live in Australia and I can genuinely say that nobody gives a flying crap about Celtic or Rangers and I can say the same about Forest and every other club that believes they're popular enough to have fans across the world that care about them because they don't!!
Where anyone get's the idea that the "world" follows any team except for the likes of Man Utd, Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea, Real Madrid and Barcelona i'll never know, complete fallacy!!
Leicester have fans in Australia, USA, NZ, Japan, China, Canada, Thailand etc which I know to be fact because I know them but they're all like me, ex-pats, does that mean we have worldwide support? No it doesn't, it just means we have fans that have moved to another country!!
My view is as valid as the next mans, and that view is that rangers have cheated and are beneath contempt, as are you for makeing assumptions re my religious beliefs.
Which as it happens you got wrong, while i am not a catholic, i do not wish to wade knee high in their blood as your nice rangers friends do.
Oh dear. Religion and football never go well together do they.

Any point to make on Celtic fans gloryfying a certain organisation that came to our shores and killed innocent people? or you only interested in painting 1 side as the bad ones?
All clubs have sc *m , end of
"this club has nothing to offer anyone other than hatred and biggotry. sooner they are done away with the better."
I'm sorry but this statement has absolutely nothing to do with football. You're incinuating that everyone associated with Rangers, the club and the fans are bigots that hate everyone and are hated by everyone. I mean seriously is that what you're saying?
Your opinion that they have cheated to win every trophy which is a lot as listed below:
Rangers won 54 League Championships, more top-flight national championships than any other club in the world.[6] They won the Scottish League Cup 27 times – more than any other Scottish club – and the Scottish Cup 33 times.[7] Rangers also won seven domestic trebles, more than any other club in the world.[8] In 1961, Rangers reached the final of the European Cup Winners' Cup, becoming the first British club to reach the final of a UEFA club competition. They won the European Cup Winners' Cup in 1972, having been the runners-up in 1961 and 1967, and were also runners-up in the 2008 UEFA Cup Final.
For them to have cheated that many times and "got away" it seems a tad unbelievable to me
I have no idea where the notion for your opinion derives from and I don't really care but let's please keep this thread about football
