with a gruop of Rangers men behind a new regime would they then tupe over and be sold on for cash?

great idea , that way they would limit their own options about moving to another club

Do you honestly expect players to do that??

what are the fans doing about season books? has the renewals been done or still to be done?

anybody on here with a season book care to answer?

I certainly wont be renewing until i see that Green and the gang can take the club forward without first getting their paws on the ticket money

Tornado, my first payment for my season tickets are due to come off on Friday. I am uncertain what to do as my view is I will renew no matter what division we are in. Right now it is not clear if we will even be playing next season.

The deadline for renewal is the 2nd of July 2012 although those who pay by direct debit will have their first payment taken on the 29th. I am certain that this weekend will give Green and indicator of what is going on.

As for what Green could do, it is quite simple. Name his investors, put the money he is going to invest in a secure account that can at least be viewed by various fans goups as a demonstration of good faith and confirm that even if we are playing 3rd division next year the aim will be to return us to the SPL as a matter of urgency.

Did you actually watch the interview with Brown on SSN? He wants to ringfence the season ticket income and use that money to fund the purchase of the assets from Green.

My renewal came out and i am not giving any more of my money yet untill i know what the outcome will be, you would be an idiot to throw your money in now.

As a Rangers fan i want to do all i can to support my club but at this moment there is not a chance im going to pledge my support to Green, he doesnt appear to have the financial clout to do the job, if he wants to show a bit of transparancy and let us in on what the actual situation is as i dont trust anyone really.

What i reckon is going to happen is Green is going to sell to Walter or the likes, then i will renew.

I know im not alone in taking this approach.

If this is true, I'm not sure I'd want to trust folk who are knowingly sabotaging things....

My direct debit instructions say otherwise

Season ticket deadline was moved to 11th july

I am waiting to see what league we are in - £438 times 3 is a lot for Elgin.....

cheers Bluetoonger

I dont know what id do if the situation was reversed , Yes you still support that club no matter what, but its buying something at £500 +/- with no scope as to what your buying
Bit of a dilemma

Ok. So I'm all for people power, but I want all you Rangers fans who are backing this to remember what you are doing - if it DOES happen, and then goes tats-up again....

Zachsda,

She obviously doesnt watch the news.

I want to renew my ticket to show support but i want to make sure im supporting the club in the long term.

If my season book money props up Green and gives him a longer stay of execution then i wont be happy.

Im not even sure on Bomber Browns consortium to be honest, i just have the sneaking suspicion that if we wait we will be offered an out-ball, someone trustworthy with backers will step in then i will be the first to renew.

Green has until Friday to provide the SFA with a business plan and evidence that fit and proper tests have been applied. Season starts in 6 weeks so timescales are tight.

Can you imagine Green now selling up to someone else who then has to apply for a license? I've said it all along, there will be no Rangers in any shape or form next season.

A year for someone to try and sort out the mess and begin again from Div3 the following season.

Are the sfl clubs going to play with 1 team short to enable Rangers to join in 12 months time then?
