To suggest that it is, actually is more racist than anything, in my opinion.

I shared that logic for the Suarez scandal.

To dismiss someones language merely because of where he spoke it - is racist in itself.

I don't recall the home secretary telling the muslim woman to get rid of the burqas

Something which is different being perceived as evil, even when it is good at heart. A good depiction of Balotelli if you ask me.

i dont understand the problem, Ballotelli is black, king kong is black
if they had portayed Ballotelli as a yeti, it might have been different, as they are white.
simple, cant see what the fuss is to be honest.

This is irrelevant. Colour is irrelevant. It's the meaning of the cartoon which is relevant.

They are clearly flirting with picturing balotelli as a giant gorilla due to his colour, you're kidding yourself if you think otherwise. This is a blatant attempt at being provocative whilst trying to make out that it is the viewer's problem if they think that picturing balotelli as a gorilla after having bananas thrown at him is racist.

The allegory I took away from King Kong was that of beauty and the beast and how the beast wasn’t evil, he was just guided by love and mistreated by people he didn’t understand. I believe that line of thinking is essential to liking King Kong, because if you don’t feel sympathy for Kong as he stands defiantly atop the Empire State Building then I don’t think the movie can work for you.

I like it! Alas, it doesn't cut it in regards to this particular picture. Think more along the lines of Inglourious B*****ds and Training Day!!!

But what in the world leads you to think that? I can't understand it. Please explain to me, as I'm at a loss here.

I asked the originally poster of this comment to explain this, perhaps you could? It's the first I've heard of it.

Let me answer that by asking you a question. Why do you think Balotelli (or other black footballers) have had bananas thrown at them in the past?

Due to idiots comparing them to monkeys.

Let me now ask you a second question, maybe you can answer it together with my first.

Why do you think people kill others with knives? Does this mean that everybody who uses a knife, kills people?

Its how you percieve the meaning of the cartoon.

One person will say they are comparing him to a big Gorilla, another to a big black Gorilla.

It's not in the best taste to portray a black footballer as a Monkey/Gorilla especially after numerous monkey chant fines have been handed out by UEFA over the course of this tournament.

Because they're easy to get hold of and deadly

Does this mean that everybody who uses a knife, kills people?

No

"Due to idiots comparing them to monkeys."
Just like he is in the cartoon? There are limitless ways of portraying Balotelli as someone to feel sorry for, I don't understand why they chose to use a gorilla so soon after the controversy about bananas.

Oh yes I do know why, to be blatently controversial and get themselves attention for it, because they done that there are racist undertones in what they have depicted.
