I've said it before. TOOR before you make any statement make sure you've done your research and know the implications of the statement.

Why does someone need to do research first? He effectively has been doing research.

You come up with articles like this while you don't even completely know the reason behind people's views.
-----------------------------------
I came up with the article, to get views on why people would consider this racist, without the article, I wouldn't have known why.
I know you acknowledged this yourself earlier TOOR but johnsonsbaby (U10461) appears to think that views other than his can only be had by people with a problem.
-----------------
Sorry but you've got me wrong. I have said that if someone looks at the picture and sees an ape, they have a problem. Why, because there's no ape there. It's Balotelli. Not an ape. Not a gorilla. Balotelli. He has human features and his own smiling face. Not the scowl of a fictional character some have made the leap to believe he is.
I have never said that views other than mine are wrong - they're clearly not. For those who want to make the link to KK then they see an ape and for me that is problematic. I don't see an ape. I'm not right, you're not wrong. We each have our own views on this.
I didn't see the Reinal advert as racist either but I respect those who did.

No idea but I'm sure I'm gonna find out!
His legs are holding onto the building, if he uses his feet, he falls. Not that it's relevant what part of the body he used.

Well, are we going for a football analogy here? Or perhaps some other kind of analogy... Like the kind of analogy perhaps that many other people have already alluded to...
people seeing an ape or a gorilla do not have a problem.
if King kong hadnt existed, and this cartoon was done, someone saying look, balotelli looks like an ape would have a problem
the fact is it is symbolic to the film.

Well if you wanna go down that road, gorillas climb with their arms don't they? So if balotelli is using his arms to swat the footballs away, then he isn't using them to climb.

If you've watched King Kong and think this picture has nothing to do with then you're clearly deceiving yourself.

I agree with this. I would guess that if I had not seen the film, nor knew about it, I would consider this cartoon racist. However knowing the film and what i took from it, the mis-understood element of an angry being who really isn't bad at all, I believe the comparison is a great one. Unfortunately King Kong was a gorilla, if he had been a bird, for example, then people might not consider it racist.

TOOR his been nothing but honest during this article, whereas you've shown yourself to be a deplorable little toe-rag who has stubbornly attempted to use what has been an engaging and largely healthy debate about a serious issue as an excuse to try and besmirch a user you don't like.
The site would be better off without you, you slippery, sanctimonious toad.

I don't think anybody is suggesting it's nothing to do with King Kong, only that the illustration might not be that of a gorilla, which after reading, I went to check, as I immediately thought gorilla and now I can certainly see JB's point.
