This article would have been applicable last summer, but I haven't heard modric pipe up this summer (yet)
Your article is a bit hasty
It's a shame knowing that he won't be reading this message.
No chance I reckon why would he be committed to us?
Can you prove that, karim? Are you luka modric?
No, therefore you have no idea whether he will or won't. All you can do is guess
Money talks. Maybe if Levy offered him 100K plus he might reconsider.
Which is what I was doing, Chronic. Stop being so mean, you numpty.
100 k alone would smash our current wage bill by 25%
A massive increase I am not sure we could sustain long term. We really need that stadium

If we want to hold onto our best players then unfortunately we'll have to offer competitive wages.
Lennon. A competitive wage for a top player now is about 120 - 150 k a week
You are effectively saying that you want levy to risk bankrupting the club just to keep hold of one or two players
Way I see it....he got talked round/told no...last summer...dug in and helped the team...to 4th...
Turnt out it wasn't enough...summat he and no one else foresee...
I say as long it's abroad and right for us...let the guy go....

Not saying eveyone should be on 120k,only very best players. Players need to know that they can fufil thier ambitions at the club and not need to move elsewhere.
Financially, there must be a way to offer bigger wages and still keep the club profitable.
Exactly junction. But only to abroad and only for a deal levy thinks is good value.
No cut price sale. No sale to another prem club. With over 3 years to run on contract we are in no rush to sell

Well yeah but we just built a world class training ground and are trying to finance a new stadium. We also want money to be available for signings.
The wage structure in place is the level it is because that is what we can financially afford to spend on wages given the other projects the club have going on
Upping the wage bill means something has to give. And that something would be money available for transfers and then people would complain that we are not addressing the squad issues. Levy knows what he is doing
I gave this article 4 s as it made the ratings look nice
Im sure Modric has said he will be playing in the champions league next season.. ?
he has also said its not about the money or he would of signed new contract all ready so he must of had a big offer from Levy but wants to go ..
God help us, let him go...
A completely different situation from Bale. the two can only be compared in the most superficial terms...how about their comparative ages for example (just for starters)?
I gave it 5 ,star> to ruin the the look................
You had me worried there you lil
I got so upset
On an offtopic note. I dont blame Modric for wanting to leave if he does.... as long as he doesnt move to the smaller club Chelsea
