I switched it off straight away, cannoy beleive the faults with this game

They are actually quite good usually in my FM game but I still finish above them every season. They are celebrating Bale signing a new contract like you would if you're team won the respective league you played in. Deluded fools.
when it happens, bring up task manager, go to processes and look for fm.exe. if it's running then kill it and try again. when you double click to start, if it doesn't come up straight away, don't double click again, just wait a min or so, it sometimes takes a few secs to boot.
if that doesn't fix it, then try uninstalling and re-installing.
I usually just eject the disk, end the game then put the disk back in.
I do what SKA said. Or I click ok, restart my laptop and then it should be fine next time. Or just wait after you click it the first time, sometimes it takes a while to load.
End fm.exe in task manager as said above and reload. This happens a lot to me and that always solves the problem
