I had a couple from Portugal and 1 from Spain last night. Could do with a Gomez hattrick tonight
I think it's lacked a bit in drama, but the standard of football has been OK. It's just when the big teams have met each other that it's been boring
Superb, the football's been a great blend of tactical assurance and efficient attacking. Been great for those who enjoy the analytical side to the game as much as the expressive side (i.e. me).
The tournament's been littered with decent matches, pretty much every day the matches have been good watches. It's just lacked that one momentus match.
I also have Gomez + Pirlo in my team. Tempted to make Pirlo captain for the double points.

I don't mind cagey tactical games but would rather a team stuck one or two away fist before settling in and playing a possession game.
Menthol, It's not that the AC team of the early 90s were always attacking for 90 mins, but the balance was more to my tastes.
Pavel Nedved?
You miss him so much you've forgotten him
I'm heavy on Germans now too - no subs left

Agree 100% but they were so exciting to watch compared to Sparca (Barca/Spain). I really hate tiki taka football and all the play acting from Sparca which is ruining the game.
I've plumped for Gomez captain tonight, but not sure if he'll actually play
TBOK
JUST SHUT UP - RIGHT
I think even the Keegan Newcastle team of the mid 1990s although not very successful they certainly expanded their global following as the cavalier play was quite entertaining to watch. Which on the rare occasions I watch football is pretty much a must for me. In the last 10 years the only games I have attended are handful of Sunday league games.

Me too.... (whilst in my pointless 18th position)
Should've used my other team - i'd be in 5th ,
Serious made me choose one or the other
I don't think many English people found the tournament exciting as their team never stood a chance i am sure Spanish and Italians are loving it.
To be honest I thought that last night´s game between Italy and Germany was excellent and slightly renewed my belief in the tournament.
It had everything that the Spain v Portugal game totally lacked.
Unfortunately I don´t have high hopes for the Final as I´m sure it will be very cagey with Spain doing their ususal let´s play twenty midfielders and try to bore the opposition to death.
