Too expensive.

Our money would be better spent improving other positions on the field anyway.

Not that I'd be upset in the unlikely event of us signing him

Great player, but not what we need and we could get 2 top quality players for what his transfer fee and wages would cost!

simply.....no

but i have heard stewart downer downing is your main priority after ashley young signalled his intent to sign for a big club in united.

Ashley Young is a one trick diving pony anyway. A lucky escape, if we were ever after him in the first place

TalksRubbish (U3303) i agree he is awful but what does that make downing? he is a weoful sameface and half the player a poor young is, and that transfer is nailed on watch this space.

I would prefer Downing over Young, better player and would be cheaper.

i suppose he would fit in at liverpool another also ran player to joing the likes of maxi and lucas amoung others, he is also a major sick note so should fit in well on the treatment table with players like gerrard, agger, carroll and many many others.

Yeah thats right we should learn from Slur Alex and sign players like Owen and Hargreaves to make sure we have a squad thats fit all the time!

how is 20 goals in 32 league apps in La Liga "also ran" and a "sick note" (assuming you are talking about Aguero).

And anyone else please don't kid yourselves into thinking you really do not want Aguero at the club, and that you do not want Young at the club... both players are better than what we currently have, both are young, and both want to win things, ie exactly what we need.

And yes we need strengthening in other areas, but if we can get them, we get them, and then focus on someone else. You snooze you lose. If we miss out on them they will go somewhere else, and we will be looking through the "discount" pile again.

So who were you talking about when you said simply...... No!

ok then scratch that part out, the rest still stands though

posted on 24/5/11

it depends on him and weather the owners will splash the cash, i feel they will but he is going to have to take a lower wage, and we are still talking 100,000 a week he is on 120,000 a week at athletico but torres took a wage drop when he movged to liverpool and aguero is a liverpool fan as well so...

Oh and he fits FSG's criteria for a player perfectly , he is young super talented and would sell truck loads of merchandise for the club, we would get our money back on his transfer in no time
